although they are relativity safe aren't they so not really much to play for in prem is there?

although if they did rest players this weekend wont they pathetically get punished by the fa for prioritizing one comp and thus weakening in another, not really a squad game is it when the fa punish you when they decide to.

I think Rafa will go for it in the second leg. He's got a good record in UEFA's comps with 1 CL and 2 EC/EL's. He likes European competition.

Plus Napoli are currently 3rd in SerieA, 4pts clear, so they could do with improving their UEFA ranking to make sure they get seeded for the Playoff round and end up in POT3 and not POT4 if they make the CL group stage. It's not easy to juggle CL qualification in the League and a shot at the EL but he managed it with Chelsea last season.

 

Swansea were extremely unlucky tonight but they have had a great European adventure this season.

I really hope Spurs win to keep pressure on their squad and tire the twats out.

Been disappointed with Eriksen so far this season, expected so much more. He started well but AVBs chopping and changing dented his confidence and now doesn't really fit the system Sherwood is adapting.

 

Yeah, PMK, Swans were very unlucky. They played good football and dominated the vast majority of both games, but just couldn't find the back of the net. Spurs in contradistinction are sending me to snoozetown. Hopefully, they'll nick a goal toward the end of the second half to force extra time!
