all i know is most fans who go in my local are sick of it god knows what Steve Bruce thinks because if ever there is a reason for him to to leave us then this could be it. I also regard this chairman as the best we have ever had and that is is the truth and i have been going since 1969 some of the games and places that i have seen in those times have been really really poor so the idiotic fans who say i would rather be in the third division but called hull city are idiots in my opinion and i dont mean in the third division in front of 18000 at the Kc i have done it at Boothferry park in front of 3000 and it is total crap i will tell you. Anyway going on about the name change we can do no more but wait til April 9th personally i think like most fans i would rather stay as Hull City but overall like i said earlier this chairman as delivered not just spoke about it he as got on and done it however i just wish he didn't come out with is threats and daft comments for now despite all this i don't really read into is comments to much and concentrate on supporting Hull city and keeping them in the premier league
The team changes almost every game. The only thing that hasn't changed since my first game is the name, even colours have changed. At what point is it no longer YOUR club?
So I presume if it were to be called Tigers FC it would still be the same team? If so, you are talking utter bollocks.
No, he is not doing that is he. Hull Tigers is the name and it will still be the football team i have supported for many years. Honestly I would quite like it to stay as it is. But it's not a deal breaker for me. I actually think it might get us some more revenue. It might not, but you don't know that.
But you don't know that it will! And it won't be the team you've supported for many years. That team is the one called Hull City AFC.
So, if he tells you in two years time that the name is going to change from Hull tigers to Kingston tigers because he has another big sponsor lined up, that would be ok?
No .. it's the eleven in black and amber on the pitch that I support who play in hull .. a name is but a name ... nothing more ... by the way hull city in the last 14 years has changed its official name 4 times ... just not the playing name .. ffs it will still show "Hull" on MOTD etc ... as it always have get with the real world and business world that is football now .. or go invest close to £100 million in a club and do what you please ? ... what ? you cant ? then put up and shut up with what they will decide .. and carry on going next season regardless
didn't care , wasn't my team on the pitch .. (as in the team playing in my town playing for my town) I don't care about any other team but my own ..
Where have i said it will make money? It might, it might not. Why not let him try? You can say my club will be gone all you want, we will just have to disagree on this.
