You lived in Liverpool, and your Mrs is scouse, I'd guess your knowledge on..... Just sayin Serbia isn't really Eastern Europe. More Balkans/South East Europe. Why would a Serb necessarily have a superior knowledge of Russian utilities than a Brit? Or someone who lived in Russia know more about Stravinsky than I do?
How could I? I've never lived in America or had an American wife. But being from London, i am an expert on werewolves Natch
The Real thing was an example of how clubs might try and get around FFP rather than an actual working example. I get your point generally but in terms of FFP, I just see things differently in terms of what Uefa would be able to get involved in. Alleged dodgy political dealings in the past is not at all a FFP issue, more the fit and proper test for new owners if anything (which is a joke in itself).
You sad tosser, I didn't give an opinion on whether the Chav's owner was a gangster etc or not, I stated that the opinions of Swarbs and Danilo carried more weight due to one having lived in Russia and the other being from Serbia(a close ally of Russia), it matters not that you needed Google maps or not to point out the country's geographical position. There are more Russians, people from the Baltic states and Romania living in your neck of the woods than locals so I guess you get your info on matters from behind the former iron curtain in your dole queue. Just saying. до свидания
Serbia is not in the Baltics, it is in the Balkans. I imagine the British media has carried far more news about Abramovich and Chelsea than Serbian media because, guess what, Roman and Chelsea are based in England. On this basis I would guess that the average Brit or Chelsea fan is just as knowledgeable about Roman as the average Baltikan or whatever imaginary state you have created. I could be wrong, next time I watch Serbian mastermind live from the Baltics, maybe Roman and Russia will be a popular specialist subject. If there is a Serb married to a Russian on the show I will definitely put my money on him, as he is bound to know everything about oligarchs. Natch
Your only source of information is Wiki. Your clubs owner's fortune was built on the blood of others and your club has been used for money laundering purposes, if you can't accept that fine but its true.
You are not from Serbia, Russia, or one of its close allies, did not go on a school trip to Russia, and have never had a Baltic girlfriend, so your opinion is not relevant

Nowhere have I claimed to be an expert on such matters based on me being Serbian. I can also swear on my life that I've never privatised anything illegally either so I'm not speaking from experience. Does that mean my opinion is less valid than a Chelsea fan from London? Have you any idea how the privatisation process process works? I do. Governments run up massive debts like Russia did right before the USSR fell. Their publicly owned and operated factories/natural resources become a burden - employees need to be paid, social security handed out, clients/investors found. Figure A comes in to the government agency overseeing these factories and offers one dollar for the company. He will keep the employees and take care of running costs. This goes one of two ways. The entrepreneur follows his promises and now that factory belongs to him. Or he lets the employees starve and leave of their own free will. The land is now his with little costs. Bribes help this process along. He's free to regulate and run his new business. In the natural gas industry this leads to massive profit. Abramovic admitted in court to using bribes in order to purchase a huge part of Russia's gas industry for much less than the true worth. In doing so he cheated the Russian people out of what they worked hard to build and maintain. Also, Russian politics are much more prominent in my media than they are in yours. My country went through an economic collapse after which private entrepreneurs with close ties to mafia and government bought up everything. My Serbian club's president was just arrested for the privatisation of a textile firm during the post breakup/war period. Ring a bell? Its how Abramovic made his massive fortune with Berezovsky and Sibneft (now Gazprom Neft, who sponsor Red Star Belgrade and have had Abramovic visit their stadium). I described it above. Perhaps his involvement with CSKA Moscow, considered by many a sister club to my own may give me some insight that even many Chelsea fans do not have. We have oligarchic figures in society. We have open discussion about corruption and mafia in the media. We are much less inclined to avoid these topics because quite frankly no one cares if we discover how the world works. There is nothing we can about it - who cares about some Eastern European ****hole? We have had multiple journalist murders based on this shady world of government corruption and privatisation. Our current media climate is in a frenzy over 15 year old killings. Often those involved had begun investigating Abramovic type figures in our society. As a result our awareness of these topics is probably much higher than the average football fan eating a pie on the terraces. Why am I telling you all this? Because you should know that I'm not spouting some Daily Mail bullshit. I know that your newspapers rarely write exposés and criticise these men. I don't completely hate the guy. But I think he made his fortune in a corrupt, opportunistic manner and this has to be understood. Surely you can look at this objectively and understand what we are saying? I'm not attacking Chelsea. You as a fan didn't choose to be his plaything. I understand that the money is there and I'll accept I'm slightly jealous. But you can love your club and accept that the fella who owns it is not an honest man.
hhhhh .. trust me..it will be more easier to mock you guys.. but is it wise to turn the whole forum against me or offend them just bcz of a childish person? sure NOT
I can't see how you could mock a nation that saved France in two world wars and knocked the **** out of you on land and sea over the centuries. Unless you're talking about the Eiffel Tower being taller than Blackpool Tower.
