i must have missed a shed load on this thread. I have no idea what is going on with rhc's knees, gerrez funeral or any of it.
Fourth place? Liverpool should be aiming for the top, says Ian Rush http://mirr.im/1jMHfZy Fowler has come out recently with this too. Hopefully we don't get the swansea back to earth result this weekend. Then again, I will miss the game due to coaching.
As I've said on here many many times, everyone within the club should be aiming for the top but that doesn't mean the fans have to have such a unrealistic expectation. Its more of a hope.
Well if it isn't us this year, we certainly have a say in where it goes with Chelsea and City still to come.
We can win. We should aim to win. We most likely won't though. 4th or 1st: the goal is the same. Go into every game playing for 3 points. Dropping points won't help either target. Never heard of him.
Incidentally. Publix (grocery store) has new British section. Saw my first bottle of Lucosade in over a decade.
Don't think so. We have world market which sells a tonne of English stuff. Asian food stores frequently sell British stuff too. Usually past expiration date though! Crunchy Jaffa cakes arnt as nice. We had an actual British grocery shop in town briefly but it closed down.
Jungle Jim's is a massive international market type place.... has pretty much everything. The british aisle is ****ing massive too.
Yes because closing 4 points at this stage is impossible. Despite the fact that winning at home would drop gap to 1 point. 1 point in 11 games is impossible to overturn. Which means United don't have a chance to overtake Everton for 6th either.
Have you seen your run in? Its not happening. 4 points can also just as easily become 7... You'll get top 4, why work yourselves up only to be let down when 4th would be fantastic in its own right. Its would be the same as everton getting 4th in 2005.... Hopefully
At home we're virtually spotless and I'd put us as favourites against anyone. Away we are weaker by far... but we have soton, utd, Cardiff, Ham, Norwich and Palace. No top 6 away fixtures left. Soton and/or Utd might put up a little fight but the rest we should win if we are not having a rotten day. I don't expect we will win the title but this is our best chance in a long time and with City, Chelsea, and Arse dropping points we have a small chance. I'll be happy with 4th... but 1st is still a target.
Fixed And no, that's not me joining in with the belief. We won't do it but we should (by which I mean people within the club) aim for top.
Yeh saints beat you away so wouldnt bank on a win tbh. United have already beat you at old Trafford this season, easily tbh. Cup game mind. The sides coming to anfield could easily make your home record considerably worse. You couldnt get much tougher tbh.
