No SD, wasn't thinking of you, didn't have anyone actually in mind, and not just on here, just in general I'm finding more fans don't care much for the rivalry between us and the goons, its more focused on "us" v the "rich clubs" like city and the chavs.

Reading my history books there are two things I've always disliked.Hitler and Arsenal.Not necessarily in that order!

 

My hero's are Horatio Nelson,Lord Dowding and a certain W E Nicholson.

I don't know any Spurs fan who wants Arsenal to win trophies but I have far more respect for them than clubs like City or Chelsea who represent everything that is wrong with football these days. I don't want any of them to win trophies but if I have to choose then I'll pick a well run club over a rich man's plaything every time.

Since last night had absolutely nothing to do with that I very much enjoyed seeing Arsenal get their customary last 16 spanking.

 

Hitler bombed Arsenal, but Arsenal never bombed Hitler. Hmm, it's a tough one.

 

Arsenal can bomb in Munich in the away leg, though.

 

That's the first good thing I've ever heard anyone say about Hitler.

 

As was mentioned on QI a few years back, Owens himself said that Hitler congratulated him for his victory in the 1936 Berlin Olympics - something that cannot be said for Franklin D Roosevelt when he returned home.

Arsenal completed 150 passes last night. Tony Kroos completed 144.

Bayern's overall pass completion was 795 out of 840. 95%.

Nope. There's a direct connection between Arsenal and Hitler, so it's not off on a tangent. Honest...

 

Godwins' Law requires a comparison between something and the antics of the Nazis.
For example :

Wengers' refusal to sub Ozil is just like Adolf refusing to accept he was beaten in Spring 1945.

 

Only inappropriate analogies count.

I was thinking of the Arsenal to Nazi Germany one, actually.
Dubious, dishonest organisation gets some power and then invades territory to the West.
Later on there's some collaboration with the French.
