Ravel Morrison completed his loan move to Queens Park Rangers today but can be recalled by West Ham after 28 days.

The former Manchester United midfielder looks certain to go straight into Harry Redknapp’s squad for their derby at Charlton this weekend.

England Under-21 star Morrison has joined QPR for 93 days, ensuring he will be eligible for the Championship Play-off Final at Wembley if necessary.

Morrison will delay a hernia operation to play for QPR, whose poor form has seen them drop out of the automatic promotion places.

Hammers manager Sam Allardyce criticised Morrison last week for not playing through the pain.

“He says he feels it occasionally,” said Allardyce. “Instead of gritting your teeth and getting on with it... he’s not the type.”

The 21-year-old, mentioned as a candidate for England coach Roy Hodgson’s World Cup squad following some sparkling early-season performances, has fallen out of favour at Upton Park and been a peripheral figure as the club’s form has improved.

He joined West Ham in January 2012 on a three-and-a-half-year contract for an undisclosed sum before going out on loan at Birmingham.

Can we send him back if we don't like the cut of his jib?

28 days later ... not sure about the new prophet ... looks like he could be a character from The Passage by Justin Cronin.

His face I have seen it before ... in that thriller video by Jack Michealson

That is the way of some on here, especially those who think that they are so much better than HR, TF and PB.

If that's true then it's not a very good deal for us! If he gets his form back and starts playing really well Wet Spam will just recall him at some point!

But surely if they were better, they would already be in football management, at a fairly sizeable club ??

    Surely !!

Sounds like a pretty rubbish deal if true. Basically, if he comes in with the right attitude and plays really well then they can take him back within a month. If he has a really petulant attitude and plays terribly then we're stuck with having him hang around and paying half his wages for the rest of the season. Nice work guys! :headbang:

Who says? (except the negative brigade). I am sure that we will be able to send him back if his attitude stinks or he plays badly. But I am sure that you know every detail of the deal that was worked out and have been through every clause.

I think it's just a precaution for the mother club to get their player back if they get a couple of injuries.
West Ham are doing ok at the moment so it should be ok.

You seriously think after he burnt his bridges with West Ham, they would take him back.

You seriously think, he is the first prima dona in football ?

Blimey, alright lads!!! How's the Is the air up there on your high horses!?

I was simply responding to the news in the OP that he can be recalled within 28 days, which I find to be something of a concern. As Seahoop says, it's probably just a precaution, but forgive me if I find it to be a concern which I wanted to express. I thought that's what this forum was meant to about. I have never at any point claimed to know the details of any contract, nor that he is the first prima donna in football... What are you on about!?

Have you just shoved one through your own goal? Not Morroccan? what does that mean?

Dorking may be an answer with it's St Georges flags and it's giant chrome cock on a roundabout? Walking around Box Hill with Elgar on a iPod while the Mole drifts gently by.

I drive through it some days and can't keep the smile off my face as i aim for the zombies of Brockham

My reaction too. Will depend how West Ham are doing. If they run into trouble with injuries, I don't thing Fat Sam would be too proud to call Morrison back
