I would love to tell you you are talking absolute crap but living within 15 minutes walk of there I wouldn't be surpised if you're absolutely right. The weird thing is that the retail park which has opened next door to it has a rake of cafes and restaunts and I don't think they have the same restrictions. I haven't actually carried out extensive reseacrh on that but did have a very agreeable non halal breakfast panini in the Cafe Nero the other week!
The only supermarket that doesn't sell halal meat is morrisons. Asda, tesco etc, chances are, if you buy beef, chicken or lamb there, it's halal. 1889
Wrong - they do sell halal but in designated counters. There's a valid concern to be made here but it doesn't really help if you make it up as you go along.
I'm not about to ask them and i suspect it will be a long time befoe i darken the doors of the stadium anyway. I've already said I think you're probably right.
Sorry, don't know who you mean 'they' there. Last time I checked, morrisons did not sell halal meat in any of their UK stores. ASDA and tesco sell halal meat. They may have a dedicated halal shelf but the meat on other counters may also be halal. It is not labelled as such and you won't know unless you ask. It may be different in Londonistan, I'm not sure.
