Well as poor as you think Ozil is, with Ozil, we're above you in the league even with your Suarez and Gerrard, and we're still in the FA cup, so Ozil must be doing something right. :-D.
I can't be arsed with any more of this player bashing. We got beaten by the best club side in Europe tonight and we were down to ten men, it could have been a whole lot worse considering. If we do get a result in Munich then those who are slating the players tonight can ****ing do one as far as I'm concerned. You support your team through thick and thin, not just when we're winning.
Until it was 10 VS 11, we were the better team, the only chance Bayern had was a shot from outside the box in the first five minutes, after that they didn't do much. It was certainly much better than last year, even with 10 men, our performance looked better than last year when it was 11 vs 11, so there has been a major improvement in the year.
You have two of the highest scoring strikers with very good conversion rates, don't think it's too much of a stretch to think ozil would have a couple of extra assists with a more lethal striker which is what my point was. But tbh he is having a very good first season and I can't be bothered to try and explain all the reasons why, anyone who watches him regularly can see the big benefit he has been to our team
So you can tell me deep down that you don't think Ozil has under performed this season for a 43mil purchase? I do, and I reckon most other people do I haven't seen a lazier player in ages, seriously. Can't be arsed getting into a childish argument about who's teams higher in the league etc etc .
Apparently he covered the 3rd most ground out of all Arsenal players tonight. Maybe you might need to watch him more closely then.
Don't think he is lazy, he just has a very lethargic style. And yes I. Think he is worth every bit of the 42m. Especially when you consider the impact all the 25-30m players at spurs, Chelsea etc have done. Ozil has been quality, a handful of quiet games doesn't change that.
He was never going to live up to 42 million, that's the market inflation, nothing we can do about that. But he hasn't been a failure, he's our top assist maker, 3rd in the EPL, also he hasn't exactly had the best players to feed with Giroud up front, and Walcott being out for most of the season. I'm sure his stats will become even better when we have a more capable striker, and Walcott back. And the league table argument isn't a childish argument, but a fact, Ozil has been a part of helping us be where we are in the league, so how can he be as bad as you're trying to claim, when he's helped us be at the top of the table, AND above you with your players who you love to praise like your Suarez and Gerrards, Ozil must be doing something right.
These red card penalty decisions really need to be reviewed for the good of the game,the rules have changed over the years to make the game more exciting etc.I would like to see a situation where the action taken by the ref would depend on the outcome of the penalty,if it is scored the player who committed the foul gets a yellow card if it saved or missed the player then gets a red card,its a double punishment under the current rule.
I'm not saying Ozil is a bad player, I would happily take him off your hands (not for 42mil though). I just personally expected more, and I'm sure a lot of Arsenal fans did too. Next season I think will be his real test
Fair enough. I do think he can offer a bit more but I still think he's been pretty good for his first season.

I just got back from the game. 1 why the **** did Ozil take a ****ing penalty I got more confident in Mertesacker taking it than Ozil, did not no one see his last one. 2 what the **** does Wilshere do if he the saviour for England you better forget hoping to see England win anything in our lifetime. 3 flappy's back yep Szczesny ****ed up but **** me! 4 Ozil is getting on my nerves now even Bobby came back and tried to help us out is that too much to ask 5 did Podolski **** Wenger daughter or something? 6 **** Giroud! I'll play Sanogo any day of the week over him.
Ozil is never going to be worth 42 million, even if he makes let's say 15 assists next year, and 10 goals, that isn't worth 42 million. But that's how it is with world class players, you will often have to pay a lot, if Arsenal don't, they will be damned for being too cheap, if they do, they're damned for paying too much.
steady steady , we played really well tonite against the best team in the world , it cant be anyones fault that we lost . just bad luck . and when we are out of all the competitions that will also be bad luck and NO other factor will have played any part . NONE .
