Time for Arsenal to focus on qualification for the annual getting knocked out of the champions league.

Seriously though, it is horrible watching the champions league. The chavs just park the bus from Russia to Rome, utd, well they're crap, city last night didn't even try and Arsenal who love the fact they qualify year on year, never ever compete to actually win the thing.

The last part of your post is the most baffling, they celebrate their top 4 status like its a trophy win, in fact their manager said "it is" a trophy but entering it multiple times and only ever getting to one final is embarrassing.

For those of you who like a stat, Toni Kroos's display in midfield is worth a look.

He attempted 152 passes tonight, 127 of which were in Arsenal's half, and he completed 96.7% of them. Not too shabby.

Arsenal's most prolific passer was Jack Wilshere, who was successful with 66.7% of his 30 passes.

What's happened to Ozil recently? Shocking.

For me he's far too lazy and definitely not suited to a PL style team. His lack of willingness to track back is embarrassing.

Not really, the prem title makes whoever wins it exactly champions of England just like the old trophy used to, if in doubt check your clubs trophy count on their website.

    You won't find any CL's or EC's though.<ok>

Arsenal and Liverpool used to be best mates on the old 606 board :emoticon-0101-sadsm

  14. Fans and commentators went mad at the effort Kolscieny (sp) put in just before Bayern scored their goal but his lack of discipline in doing that led to conceding said second.

Watch it again and you will see Flamini filling in for him. But as Kolscieny gets back Flamini is too busy re-organising as a result that he forgets to mark his man. His man scored the second!

    Heroic? Yes
Good for the team morale? Maybe
Good for the team as a whole? Certainly not
    Costly? Almost certainly

That was back in the days before you were brainwashed into thinking top 4 and money in your owners pockets was a sign of success.
A club like Arsenal should be winning trophies not amassing megabucks for the owners.

  16. Also before Wenger decided to submit an embarrassing +£1 offer that caused a lot of agro on these boards in the summer
