The red card killed the game IMO. We already used up a sub because of the injury and going down to 10 men and having to sacrifice a player handicapped us even more. And against a team like Bayern that's too much. Hopefully the team rebounds against Sunderland and Gibbs is fine (Monreal is in poor form ATM so a spell on the bench could allow him to regain his composure and get back to his usual level).
was it bad luck that we didnt have a credible replacement too , or was that Gibbs fault ? what a stupid fucking arguement . Is a club only allowed ONE good player for each position ? What are you smoking ? Bad luck that we only have ONE good player for each position . just read that back to yourself.
Lazy on your behalf. Monreal should have seen the run from Robben, but blaming Wenger for it is ****ing dumb
Again you're acting like Monreal is a bad player. So he's in poor form does that mean he's ****? Just means he's going through a bad patch and if he keeps his head up he'll come back better. Then again you're one of the ones who crucified Ramsey and claimed he was useless and **** and now you're begging for him to come back.
Gibbs along with Walcott seems to be incapable of staying fit for any length of time. He really could have been a top player by now
To be fair Nacho had been OK when he had a run in the team, he got found out tonight by a side who singled him out and focussed on the right flank and with the quality they have, anyone would have struggled. Red cards aside, City and us have proved we are still some way short of Europe's best...
Anyway, there will always be those who'll use this loss to slate Wenger. That's to be expected, but the truth is that Bayern are the best club side in the world at the moment and Robben was causing problems on the left even with eleven on the pitch. Tonight was a case of what could have been, if we'd scored the pen and kept all of our players on the pitch then who knows what the result could have been. That said, the players still put in an epic shift when we went down to ten men, so for that they deserve some credit. Also we went to Munich and won last season, so we can do it again.
you are either SERIOUS about the champions league , in which case you have depth of squad . Or you are not , in which case one instance of " BAD LUCK " will fuck you over in a single game . Which is it ?
Something positive we have seen is the pace of Sanogo. He's a big player but he has the speed to go with it, diabyesque. Looks lake giroud has some proper competition and helps our squad depth issues up top if he can continue how he has played in his two starts so far. We're still yet to see much of how lethal he can be, but he seems to have a lot of positive attributes so far.
Well that was hard work to watch I think we put in a massive effort 2nd half Muller done us in the end which was heartbreaking With Ozil I hope i am wrong but he may not settle at Arsenal I want him make it with us but I wonder if he will go in the summer I hope not Monreal just not good enough at the moment and Gibbs is made of a very brittle type of glass .(I saw him kick a blade of grass a few seasons ago he was out for ages) Anyway massive effort now lets batter Sunderland at the weekend I will be there to give us a big cheer Come on Gunners
Agreed. Montreal was solid when he had a run in the team and has been very good coming on and playing with Gibbs to close down the left hand side. He's a very useful player to have in the squad, let's not go over the top just because he has double and even tripled up on down the side they threw all their attacks down.
its the first bad game hes ever had aint it ? NO , he is weak . I can see it . hell sometimes even you can see it . But Arsene will take about 2 years to see it. and thats the disturbing part .
He's also got a decent touch and an eye for a pass. He didn't get enough of the ball tonight which was to be expected, but when he did have it he showed some good promise.
Like I said, Monreal should have seen the run from Robben. You're just repeating the same bollocks now.
Agreed , he fluffed a few things tonite but hell he can fluff about another 150 before he gets to Girouds tally . I think with some game time he could be awesome , just hope he gets it .
The turn and pass over the top for Oxo in the first half was quality, just a shame we didn't have Walcott on the end of it
He's an exciting prospect. Have a friend who watches a lot of French football who was telling me arsenal had got a great player when we signed sanogo, reckoned he was better than lukaku. Yet to show that yet, but I'm pleased with him so far, hope wenger has uncovered a gem in him.
Yep that's the one I was thinking of. Great trap, quick feet and top quality pass. Ox is quick but Walcott would have got to that before Neuer.
