RWAEB- I agree with what you say. As much as I want to win this we need to be back in the champions league and do everything we can to ensure we have the best chance possible.
You only need to look at the fixtures this week to see what we are missing. I honestly don't see our squad as inferior to Arsenals. I would love us to be playing Bayern Munich however daunting it may be.
Don't get me wrong I do want us to win this thing and if we get to the quarter finals then we should do all we can to win it. With the squad we have we should be able to manage both.

I think Chiriches is injured that's why I went for Kaboul. I would rather Kaboul wasn't risked, however if he does have to play the more matches may do him good.
I was pleasantly surprised by his performance against Newcastle, he looked to still have his pace and was making some great forward runs. I just hope he can stay injury free until the end of the season.

The Ukrainian President has declared Thursday a day of mourning, cancelling all entertainment events, including sports.
Sounds like the game's off, even though our players have already flown out there.

Now what? Play on Friday, the weekend, move the tie to another country?
    Very strange situation.

So by your logic, Everton should have been awarded the league game when the riots kicked off in Tottenham ??

Everton shouldn't count though, SC. Crime epidemics in the local area would exclude Merseyside permanently from competitive fixtures. <whistle>

Kiev's game has been moved to Cyprus, but that was already known.

It seems that Walker, Lloris, Adebayor, Dembele, Kaboul and Lennon haven't traveled, if The Mirror's report is correct.

Still no justification for us to be awarded the tie.

What was the cause,of Celtic,i think had a tie where they had to go out and score a goal against no opposition, and they went through

Sherwood getting his priorities right and attempting to save his Job. if Liverpool pull away with a 6 point gap at this stage of the season (with their goal difference) it effectively rules us out of top four so the Norwich game is more important then the europa league.

If anything, I would have kept even more players at home, especially as Ukraine may be burned to the ground while they're there...

If that happens, watch Levy put in an insurance claim of 50m for Chadli and Naughton.

It would be better to play both legs at WHL. Looks pretty dangerous to me. I wouldn't go there right now and I've worked in some war torn places. Sierra Leone, Liberia etc. and I've even worked on Merseyside. Must be the only one!
