    Wright-Phillips rejects Addicks move

It's understood Shaun Wright-Phillips has rejected a loan move to join fellow Championship side Charlton Athletic. Wright-Phillips has failed to start for Rangers since September, after falling out of favour under manager Harry Redknapp, and any chance of breaking into the first-team looks to be bleak, with Ravel Morrison's impending arrival at Loftus Road. The former England international's contract with QPR expires at the end of the season, but the winger has indicated he is not keen on a move to The Valley, where his brother Bradley enjoyed a two-and-a-half year spell with the Addicks between 2011 and 2013. Redknapp has previously stressed it will be difficult to offload Wright-Phillips, adding that it is only Premier League clubs who will be able to afford his wages, as he looks to trim his squad of the higher-paid fringe players.

I don't blame him. Their pitch is a lake, anyone under 5'6" runs a serious risk of drowning.

It says in there that it expires at the end of the season. Is that wrong then?

It's probably only 4 years to us. Wouldn't be the first time the club were economical with the truth rather than own up to massively overpaying on wages for someone who has been a total failure ever since being at Citeh first time around

It's rumoured that SWP is on £60,000 a week at QPR.

That equates to........ £8571.42* per day

    or ...........................£357.14* an hour

    or............................£5.95* a minute

or ...........................£.10p* a second ............ to not play football!

I was wading around in four feet of water searching for a body at 7pm this evening for £3.72* an hour ( or 15.5p a minute)

    * Pay based on a 24 hour clock

Its even worse when you take into account he only works a couple of hours a day and gets days off left right and centre.

He can't even kick a ball straight.

Even if SWP only worked for three hours a day every day ( Which he doesn't! ) He would be on £1071.42 an hour to not play football.
He earns more for an hour's work (ahem) than most people earn in two weeks!
