They'll have spend another billion of unearned money to try and reach Barcelona's level and claim it's a massive achievement.
Oooh, team loses to Barca, shock horror. They lost but they weren't absolutely embarrassed like you were last time you played Barca Jose's comments made me chuckle, "Barca worst in years" The same team with an absent coach beat him to the title even though he had Ronaldo and the other Galacticos PSG or Bayern for the CL for me, both looking really good.
Not far off tbh. Playing at home against a worse Barca team, less possession than we got in 2011 (both before and after the red card), and their best efforts came from lumping it into the box. The only thing they had that we didn't have in 2011 was a big strong bus to park. That, and about six inches of height advantage on average across the whole team PSG for the CL for me. Think Bayern will fall foul of the winner's curse and go out in the semis.
Not like you to bite such obvious bait though you didn't swallow Yeah PSG are looking very good indeed though sooner or later someone is gonna win back to back CLs, Bayern are certainly capable. I just hope Chelsea don't make the semis or final, it ruins the ****ing competition for everyone but Chelsea fans, the brand of football is atrocious.
A gentleman never swallows And tbf we were embarrassed by Barca in 2011, so it wasn't all that much bait. Tho' I'd still rather be very embarrassed in the final, than slightly less embarrassed at home in the second round... Gonna wait and see on Bayern - they're capable, but the Bundesliga this year is very average, and they haven't really been tested under Guardiola yet. Agree on Chelsea tho' - that bus should never leave the garage!
The one positive that City can take from the game is that Demichelles will be suspended for the 2nd leg
Had it been 1-0 I'd of given them a chance of turning things around, as I do genuinely believe this Barcelona side can be got at. City for the first 20 stood back in awe, but once they actually put themselves about abit, and grew in confidence, you could see Barcelona were struggling. City where the better side even with 10, and had Demichelles not been sent off they may well have won the game. I just think a 2 goal margin could be too much in the Nou camp. One thing that we have seen tonight, which I had noticed in la Liga matches, is that Barca aren't anywhere near the team they where. Xavi's legs have gone, and Iniesta is loosing his sparkle, and it's no surprise the coach has dropped him so many times this season. Even Messi doesn't look quite as good as he was 2 seasons ago, so maybe the constant injuries are taking there toll on him. He's still an amazing player don't get me wrong, but is he still quite as good as the player who scored like 90 goals in a year, I'm not convinced
Very disappointed with the city support tonight _ biggest game for them in many a year and their fans were pathetic. Out sung by the small Barca following ( believe half of them turned up at Old Trafford by mistake ! ) they just did not get behind their team. Long way to go for them to become a big club.
Eh? It's actually true. Loads of barca fans turned up at OT. To do the tour of the ground and sold it out. Came to see a proper football club
Not really, they came for the Franchise sales pitch. Open your own Man United pub in Spain, gay bars will be queuing up for that name
how incredibly boring and repetitive has that ever been funny? really? id expect better from even the tard matthew
I hope we actually get Barca AND Bayern, just to stick 11 men in goal. It's funny how people forget we took Bayern on in the Super Cup and went toe to toe with them.
