This has happened far too many times since Bruce came in for it to be a coincidence. Evans, Rosie, Brady, Fryatt off the top of my head once and Aluko and Surgeon twice have come back too early from injury and got re-injured.

I believe injury dilemmas are a trait that have followed Brucey about. Didn't Sunderland always have more players injured than fit?

Sunderland fans use to blame his training techniques.

I've said it before but i think Brucey gets the all clear from the medics and then thinks, great stuff lets get em back in, thinking everyone is like he was as a player. When in fact players are right tarts, for the most part, these days. Remember Fryatt before Barnsley, his interview was so negative about playing.

That's not what I'm saying, but there's always ways to improve and I think this is definitely one of them.

Possibly, I do think this has happened too often in the last 18 months though, whether its Bruce putting pressure on players to come back before they're fully fit, our medical team not knowing whether the players are actually ready yet or the players saying they're fit but actually they're not.
