    Butland would have been my first choice but I would be happy with Gomes. Like you say he is desperate to make the World cup squad so would be going all out to impress.

    He had that really bad start at spurs when he first got there, looked a terrible keeper but then got it together and was pulling off some wonder saves, eventually got replaced because of his inconsistency. Didn't even know he was still at spurs to be honest.

    Not having that one Josh. The slight suggestion that Ruchubka was a goalkeeper is an even bigger exaggeration that he has to be the most overrated. <ok>

    <laugh> I was going on the assumption that keepers generally had to be rated to be overrated but I can see your point.
