The worst ever was that semifinal against Chelsea, Christ even I felt sorry for them. That ref must've been paid off.
That was great, me and my mate watched it in a pub full of Chelsea fans. Its amazing how the refs give everything to the bigger clubs, absolutely every 50 50 decision go their way as well as a lot of clearly wrong ones. Surely if anything to you should give the smaller club the benefit of the doubt. Say that, it was a pen and red card, messi didn't even choose to go down.
I was waiting for it, just surprised it wasnt a last minute goal. No wonder we delayed signing Morrison to include the play off final.
Messi played a pass the kind of which my lad plays every Sunday and Clive bloody Tyldsley almost came in his pants!! City have actually done really well with only 10 men. Only a fantastic save by Valdes from a Silva volley has stopped them getting the draw!
Just back from work and looking at that penalty decision which seems very borderline. Really too much add-on punishment involved - red card > penalty > goal > 10 men > player banned for 2nd leg They've done well to hold on though and have almost grabbed an equalizer. That jinxed them, 2-0 now!
It was actually marginally outside the area. But the ref only gets one look at it and it looked a pen at first. 0-2 now. City don't deserve that.
It was about a foot out but you can't blame a ref for that. Its another reason why I'd like replays for every goal, red card and pen. That would mean every red card against Norwich would be overturned.
