It can't have just been a plain beanie hat for that reaction surely? Unless he's an advocate of gentleman's conduct and must never wear a hat inside

 

Considering his reaction when his own phone went off during an interview it might well just be because he sees wearing the hat during an interview/indoors as disrespectful.

 

I actually LOLed at this for a good 10 seconds.

It will be this. They all wear smart matching tracksuits and stuff pre and post game and he won't like the idea of someone strolling round in a beanie like he's top dog in someone else's tunnel.

 

Word is that it was no more than a baseball cap and Elmo was the transgressor.
