Before the season he was condescending towards Wenger as he didn't see Arsenal as a threat. It's fair to say he now does and has changed his tune accordingly albeit in an unnecessarily disrespectful and unclassy way.

Yes he is, i have never seen him look so sulky or irked in an interview, his normal MO is to make a big joke of it and be the star performer.

You obviously did not see any of his interviews at Inter or Real then.

    Mind the gap

Different altogether, the Italian and Spanish press were very agressive towards him, the British press love him and he usually plays up to them when he is the "happy one".

A sweeping simplification of his relationship with media. Marca liked him at first, and Gazetta always gave him a fair crack

Those who think Mourinho is genuinely irked by Arsene ****ing Wenger are seriously stupid. Why is he not making comments about Sherwood, Moyes or Martinez? Or why has he only just mentioned Liverpool? He's trying to play mind games with his closest challengers, has done ever since he arrived on the scene. It makes me laugh how wound up people get at him. He's pure box office and it's funny as **** seeing people get their knickers in a twist. I'd rather the likes of Mourinho and Ferguson making it more lively than boring duds like Wenger or AVB.

With regard to the topic and in contrast to what I just said, Wenger probably untentionally offended him with the 'scared of failure' comment and he has retaliated. Those people suggesting Wenger is 'wumming' Mourinho <laugh> priceless.

What makes me laugh is how so many people contribute to phone ins, social media etc to say how 'bored' they are of Mourinho. Well you spend a lot of time talking about him if that's the case!! Jose tells it like it is and it's box office gold. I'm glad to see Jose fighting our corner and ultimately he is right, Wenger has been paid a fortune to consistently not win things.

Wenger was the best paid manager in the Prem until recently - paid more than Fergie - to balance the books at Arsenal and deliver top 4 on a budget.

If their fans are happy to subsidise those wages with the most expensive seats in world football, that's their choice.

Although they've stopped boasting they are the best-run club in the world now. Bayern are self sufficient and win European cups

And for a set of fans that are consistently moaning about their board / manager / players / ticket prices, boo regularly at home games etc. they are very quick to get their knickers in a twist over a flippant comment by Jose!

You put a very positive spin on Maureen making a prick out of himself, but then as a Chelsea fan it's to be expected.

Why doesn't Maureen get his knickers in a twist about Matinez, Moyes or Sherwood as you ask ? Because he is not threatened by them, whereas by Wenger and Arsenal he clearly is. Why has he only just mentioned Liverpool ? because they are also becoming a threat. Why do you think he's bleating on about Barca being the weakest they've been ? Because another threat City are playing them.

Maureen doesn't play 'mind games' because the **** he comes out with is quickly batted into touch. Maureen started crying about players diving after Suarez then three weeks in a row his own players did the same, Maureen started whining about Arsenal having more rest days and then was shown up to be a prick when Opta stats showed Chelsea having the most out of the top 6.

When he first came to the Premier league he was quite funny and he always gave his quips with a smile and a laugh, now he is just a bitter little twat who seems intent on making a ****ing fanny of himself each week and you lot defending him is quite embarrassing.

and likewise with you being an Arsenal fan, you're bound to think the opposite. There's no point in continuing this arugment, I think the profanities you've just thrown at him clearly shows Mourinho's comments are working on the fans.

His record does and will continue to speak for itself, especially against Wenger.

This instance isn't about mind games though. Wenger implied Jose was scarred of failure and Jose replied that Wenger is a specialist in failure. No mind games there just snappy remarks. Wenger's was arguably true, Jose's was definitely true. In the last 9 years Wenger has lost all the cup finals he has been in and his team have bottled a few title races too, ergo, Wenger knows all about failure...a 'specialist' if you will.

I wont bother listing what Jose has won in that time, although admittedly no Emirates cup. <whistle>

Being an Arsenal fan I guess I will see it differently, but the profanities towards Maureen aren't borne out of hatred towards him because he's wound Arsenal fans up, it's simply the truth, he's a bitter little twat because each week he comes out with some moaning **** that comes back to slap him in the face a la HIAG.

On the subject of his time in Spain, the media there actually gave him a hard time and he bottled it towards the end, not even showing up for press conferences. That's the difference here, the media lap up his BS so it encourages him to do more.

Wow what a rant. You spend a lot of time thinking about Jose.
He has really got into your head.
Seems the pressure is getting to Arsenal players and now fans too.

February fever on the Arsenal board. Will it be the annual March meltdown

Let's add a face palm in here too <doh>

You seem obsessed about who is wumming who. Just like with HIAG. Sad

That can't be true surely? I know they make a lot but they've spent huge amounts on players in the last 5 years

Even though they take less gate receipts than Arsenal, and make less money from TV rights of the Bundesliga, they sweep up all the best sponsorship deals.

Commercially they are the best run club in Europe.

When arsenal fans used to say they were the best run club in Europe years ago it was wrong.

Liverpool and even Chelsea make more commercially than Arsenal.

If Arsenal had developed their commercial side as successfully as Liverpool combined with their 60k stadium they would be even stronger financially

    http://www.deloitte.com/assets/Dcom... Business Group/uk-deloitte-sbg-dfml-2014.pdf

Commercially, when you think how big a name they are, Arsenal are one of the worst run clubs.
