Latest news. Now the Cagliari players are threatening to boycott their next game The quicker you get this guy the better
You think he will sack him for beating wall only 4-0. We could send you down that game. you could be on manager no 4 or 5 by then for this season.
3 This season,we all know if Harris hadn't been so **** the job was his. That's why he left his favourite club southend for Management.
Jacket,Lomas,Harris and Hollowhead, all in less than 12 months even Cellino would struggle to better that and Hollowhead won't see the season out.
I don't even know what the equivalent to Irish League football is in England, it is the league in Northern Ireland in this case which is part time and terrible quality, I follow it a bit and have to say I have never heard of him. Usually players would be picked up from here at a younger age, but who knows.
McDermott has a good record for signing up & coming talent from the Irish league has he not? I'm sure I read that somewhere with a list of who he plucked from over there
James, there was a club that was a feeder club for us in the 90's. We got a host of players from them like Kelly, Harte and many others....
Maybe from the league of Ireland, which is the league down south, slightly better quality. It is rare for anyone to make it out of the Irish League, he plays for Glenavon who are a mid table side, usually anyone with any talent gets picked up by Linfield who have a monopoly due to money paid from the IFA. Have checked the Irish League forums and there is just one post about it, hoping they make some money out of it.
That was Home Farm Elland. Also produced McPhail, O'Dea and Maybury. Totally different kettle of fish to Glenavon. Home Farm were renowned for producing great young talent that made it across the water including Ronnie Whelan. I would say Irish League would be as poor as the bottom tiers of Scottish football but of course always a chance of finding a nugget there
The only player I know of at the minute showing potential to make it across the water is Jordan Stewart at Glentoran, also 18 but playing regularly at a bigger club, if anyone can post a youtube video of him you will see the level of Irish League football and how he shouldn't be forced to take part.
