Vince McMahon to buy Newcastle?

It's definitely a show, but one that attracts sell out shows, prime time TV and exposure throughout the world. His homes alone are worth over 100 million along with a yacht and his net wealth is in excess of a billion.

He ensures the crowd gets their money's worth and is a brilliant promoter and merchantiser. It's probably bulls.it but one can dream.

He's worth around 1.1 billion dollars, not sure anybody would want to blow a third of that on a football club. ..?

If it's dollars he will be worth around 650m sterling. Which is even less encouraging

A lot of this wealth is not actually liquid, he has 80.9% of the shares for the WWE, some $100 million locked up in property and a yacht, he may be able to raise the funds for a purchase but would probably be along the lines of the Glazers putting the club into a debt servicing position similar to Man Utd although at a lower level.

 

If this comes off it would be amazing, seeing the Rock run out of the tunnel in the 89th Min of Newcastle vs Sunderland and laying the smack down on the entire Mackems defence leaving an open goal…..
