Mate, surely as i've just completely blown your replies out of the water, you must have something better to post than this.

Its hard to accept i know. Many other QPR fans thought we were the "best thing since sliced bread' and i got slated for saying we'd struggle in the Prem.

just man up and admit it is possible that your are not the "best" team in the NPC but will most probably go up as champs...No shame in admitting you are wrong mate..<laugh>

    Come on now....we are waiting....<ok>

EDIT: and No. i never suggested you were a one man team in any post.<ok>

I agree with this. QPR certainly weren't pretty to watch last time or this time. Leicester, however, play some amazing stuff. Best in the league? I would say yes, but it's subjective as you say.

Why put us in the same bracket as QPR? We play much better football. Senseless WUMing.

    You're miles off the mark.

You too have a biased opinion. I've told you before I call it as it is. Quite honestly, I'd take being top of the league playing hoofball but that is simply is not the case. It's an added bonus that we'll playing brilliant football on top.

    Seriously?

    Really?

Im not WUMMing at all....I mentioned Leicester and QPR because you support Leicester & I support QPR <doh> cant be that hard to fathom out?

The rest is opinions mate, that means we can both be wrong or right<ok>

You put Leicester in the same bracket as QPR as not being as good as Burnley, in reality, it's Leicester and Burnley that should be in the same bracket, as both play much better football than QPR. Which of Leicester and Burnley plays the passing game better is up for debate, but even a blind man can see both are superior to QPR. <ok>

I think you've missed the point mate. I used those 2 clubs because that who we follow. i could just as easily said reading & Yeovil or derby or who-ever. I picked them because they are our teams. it has nothing to do with putting them in the same bracket, thier passing game or anything else.
I think you may be reading into something that isnt there...or if it is then i cant see it?

As for you playing better football...again thats an opinion. you are entitlled to it but doesnt necc make it correct. <ok>

im sure lots would agree with you and some disagree..like i said its an opinion.

Going round in circles here (bit like QPR defenders today - though best in the league apparently!!) I think we have all pretty much established its about OPINIONS!!!!

Anyway another poor result for QPR today, they looked very average as usual and will be lucky to finish top 6 at this rate. Twitchy Deadknapp is having a nightmare. At least you still have games in hand over us to try and "catch us" oh wait.... no you don't!!
Pressure off us now thankfully at Forest on Wednesday, as even if we lose (think it may happen) we will still be in a wonderful position.

Anyway MIND THAT HUGE GAP!!!! Crumble choke crumble! <laugh>

    agree mate

think we've blown any chance of autos esp when Charlie was out.
Lots questioning harrys decisions but im giving him until seasons end based on the fact that we have always been top 4. prob just luck.
i think gangsta was reading to much into my post and took it the wrong way.

Havent seen thi morns game and im not sure if ill be bothered TBH. all forums basically saying were were crap and wrong formation etc. I think ill prob just agree with them and save myself the pain.

You are still 11 above us right? and 8 on Burnley?
Thats a big gap mate but with 16 games to go its not a certainty.

good luck <ok> make sure you dont crumble...i'll promise some proper wind ups if that happens <laugh>

    <laugh> Are you joking?

Woooah hold your horses there Queens, we're not saying we are the "best thing since sliced bread", and we haven't even mentioned the Premier League...

At the end of the day, football is a results business... Ergo, the team with the best results, is the best team. Currently, that team is us. I really don't see what there is to argue?

Are you saying that Derby are better than us because they've scored more goals? You're better than us, because you've conceded less? Or Burnley are better than us, because they (apparently) play nice football?

You can't possibly say that Arsenal have been the best team in the Premiership for the last decade, because they play "nice" football. Can you!? Even though they haven't won any trophies!?

And are you actually going to answer the question?

Who, in your opinion, is the best team in the NPC?

Queenie - you need to define what you mean by 'best team' ... you may know what you mean by it but others don't .. and your posts at times seem rather contradictory and you then tend to get a little exasperated when others don't 'get you' ... what I think you are trying to get across (and I'm not being patronizing) is that the team that finishes top may not always be the best footballing side, perhaps from an entertainment perspective etc ... which might indeed be true ...

However, I have to disagree with you on the label of 'best team' ... for me that is simple ... the league is played over 40 odd games a season ... the team that accumulates the most points is undoubtedly the 'best team' in that league because they have outperformed everybody else in amassing points over a single season ... which is the purpose of a league competition ...the other teams in the league had ample opportunity to change that outcome over the season but fell short of the top team ... hence the top team did better ... de facto 'are the best' of all the competitors in that competition ...

Whether the team that wins the league has the best chance of surival or not in the Prem, whether they come straight back down, is irrelevant ... because that is not 'the now' ... it is next season's challenge where they may well be the worst team i.e the one finishing with the least points in a league... but you can't take away from the fact that they were the best team in the league at the time they won it ... the table shows it to be true.

the best team will be sorted at the end of the season. the competition is judged on one factor only number of points gained after playing all teams home and away .if the best team were judged by :
a, best style of football then the fa would a point judges with score cards just like ice scating
b, best defense then they would award 3 points for not conceding goals
c, best atmosphere they would simply give points based on decibels
d, most expensive not much of a spectator sport, but the fa could just ask the board to send in bank accounts that would be a proper sport the excitment of the live opening of the post
e, the team other fans want to watch wow fa x factor

but for the sake of arguments this season as well as last and for quite a while the fa plumped for the team who scores more goals than the team they play on a game by game basis awarding the victor 3 points and the loser 0 points and if they are all square they get 1 each and they add all these points up at the end and now the is a strange concept they declare the winner as the team with the most points this is unfortunate as if we used the best defense system as Queenie quite likes at the minute we would have been promoted under maddog/ginger/hollowhead rather than relegated

A change of manager at this point of the season would be a big gamble, but sometimes a new face can freshen things up and give the players a kick up the backside. I think you should stick with Harry myself for obvious reasons (he's making a pigs ear of things) and long may it continue.
One thing is for sure not one single Leicester fan I've come across thinks the season is over and promotion is done and dusted. But the fact remains we are in a truly great position and if we do happen to "crumble" and mess it up we would have ourselves to blame and of course expect to be bombarded with wums haha
Like I said, even if we do blow it, I'm not sure it will effect QPR (apart from making you smile)

One of the best teams "on paper" was Bolton at the start of the season, so make of that what you will.

Wigan for me ... appeared to have kept a good nucleus of the Cup Final winning squad and to have recruited well ... that said I'm expecting hem and Watford to drive on now to the end of the season in an assault on the play-off party ... may just have left it too late but both are starting to click ...

Here's what I meant about brackets. Your quote was "...if it was my money i was spending in this league, it would be to watch Burnley. Not Leicester or QPR." it should have read "...if it was my money i was spending in this league, it would be to watch Burnley or Leicester. Not QPR." <ok>

However, since you use the word "I", clearly this is your opinion, which you're entitled to. You can believe in whatever you want; Elvis living on the moon, the illuminati of lizard people pulling the strings or Harry Redknapp being a good manager. However note you will be judged on opinions you give. And people will giggle behind your back.

No it shouldnt mate? what are you talking about.
What it probably should have said is " i would be going to watch Burnley, not any other team"...Does that make sense to you now?
You seems to be itching for an argument about something that really isnt there mate.

Like i said, i used our 2 clubs as examples because its who we support. It had nothing to do with our play, style boxes or anything else you want to drag up

I'll make it really simple...just for you..try this
"If i was a neutral and paying my money to go to NPC games, Id want to be going to Burnley" !!

There you go, do you undertand that now. Im sorry but i cannot simplify it anymore <ok>

So why didn't you just write "The most entertaining side" <laugh>

The best side, is without a doubt, the side that sits at the top of the table.
