Why do you think that he may be dropped? Hope not, he was one of our better performers against Reading.
God only knows what weird and wonderful line up Harry will come up with. I wouldn't be surprised if he went back to playing with NO wide players......he's clueless.
Just wish he would keep the ball closer to him. He shows a little too much to the defenders when pushing forward. Better control and he would be a step up
I dont want him dropped, he was probably our best player yesterday, Im just thinking its probably what Arry would do.
It's an interesting one. I thought he was one of the few that had a good game and seems keen to impress in his new role. However for HR he's not a 'name' and easy to drop!
I saw at least 4 goal opportunities in the match that weren't finished off Traore looked good he plays in my book excellent pace No problems here
He was one of our better players against Burnley and he was then dropped for the next game against Derby....
I would start him at left back instead of Ekotto. Hoilett in front of him and Morrison on the right wing.
Have you forgotten how Traore plays at left-back? Have you forgotten how pointless Hoilett is cutting inside and just running into the full-back?
Sorry mate, but Hoilett's was one of the brighter performances against Reading. I agree that Traore is better further forward, but I think everyone is just fed up with BAE's attitude. I never understand the constant criticism of Hoilett. I hear it at the ground too. Against Burnley, my lad nearly got me into a fight, as he turned round and had a right go at the twonk behind us who was constantly abusing Hoilett!!
Your commenting on Hoilett on the right though Col, Hoilett on the left does exactly what Wats says, cuts in to the heavy traffic and loses the ball, time after time after time. If Morrison does sign and plays on the right, could Hoilett play behind Doyle?
I would put Barton on the right, its where he played his best football for Newcastle and he's neither a defensive nor an attacking centre midfielder, just runs around a lot, Morrison attacking CM (apparently he may not turn up if we play him anywhere else) Onouha as DCM (he can't pass but neither can Henry and at least he's quick) and keep Traore on the left. BAE needs a good talking to but we don't have a better left back at the club. That's if we insist on playing 4-4-2, the most antiquated of formations. Prefer a 3 man defence with wing backs myself, but we'll never see it, though it seems to be working for Wigan again. Jenas????
