As a PL club with no European games, we have the fewest fixtures possible in the entire football league. I think we can manage an extra game. The physical impact will be practically negligible, despite what any manager says.
Hit the woodwork twice, had one cleared off the line and scored. Considering they were the only chances we had all game, we've done OK. The one negative is that we now have an important replay betwixt massive league games with Cardiff and Newcastle
I hear what people are saying about an extra game but at this time in the season training will be light so they should be able to manage another game. In the old division 1 sixty games were quite normal on crap pitches.
We didn't really deserve to win that and Brighton deserved a replay and that is what we've got. I can't believe the whinging on here, all because of one extra game of football - bloody fact the extra practice will do one or two no harm. Bring it on and let's be more assertive next time - midfield anonymity helps no-one.
Or psychologically will it make them think actually we are all right and still billy big bollocks ex spurs players who dont need to roll our sleeves up and get stuck in.
How on Earth can you say that that is the worst outcome? Beat Brighton and then Sunderland at home then you're at Wembley. Provided the draw is kind to you then you can get into your first Cup final. Some miserable bastards on here. I'd be delighted if Leicester had done that.
Spot-on, AKCJ. I would've taken 1-1 before the game, and we managed to get it without even playing that well. Bodes well for us. Moaning twats all around.
thirded. Bruce was upbeat - he wants to progress and we've kept ourselves in it A team which didn't care would have been knocked out
