More nonsense - The full name of the Nazi party was the "National Socialist German Workers Party" - to attract followers across from the German Communist Party which was at least as strong as the Nazis right to the point where Hitler was installed in January 1933. If you cull the main points from Mein Kampf, there was not a single socialist policy in it. But I do agree that it was the worst system of all. Many of the 3.5 billion (as you put it) are also from countries that have never espoused socialism - especially sub-Saharan African countries, India, most SE Asian countries. As for China, please do not equate its brand of Communism with socialism. As for evolution (?) and corruption holding people back - at least the latter is correct and this corruption stems from human nature - which is the main reason that neither naked capitalism nor raw socialism will work.
Moving away from politics for a moment - an interesting appraisal of Fessi..... http://www.squawka.com/news/2014/02...al-to-the-hornets-promotion-bid/2014021770916 Now you may go back to your arguments.
I don't like many Tory politicians and certainly don't trust almost ANY politician. However one thing I have learned is that ALL Labour governments end with the economy in a total mess - never their fault of course. Many Tory Governments have "rescued" the economy. This one is doing the same - which is quite amazing given how rubbish Cameron and Osbourne are. Ultimately the Tories do face nasty problems and try to solve them. They get the economy working. It may be a shame that having done so they then don't make sure the spoils are more evenly shared out - I like the example Yorkie gave of workers not being able to earn more than 3x another - not that I could see that working here. I dread to think what would happen if Milliband gets in in 2015
Can someone help me understand how all governments can tell me to not spend more than I have, but they cannot do this themself.
I'm not too sure that is the case AK - governments keeping interest rates deliberately low are doing little more than encouraging spending - and no-one will convince me that they are not complicit in banks offering credit facilities to those who don't have money to spend and can't afford those facilities.
It always tickles me how in one breath we are told that the country is drowning in a sea of debt and the people are partly responsible due to irresponsible borrowing and in the next we are told that the way to get the country running again is a consumer led recovery. What the hell is in the curriculum at Eton thrse days?
Good morning all from a damp start to the day here in Weston-super-Mare. Jolly trip to the dentist this morning! Have a good day and very good luck in Somerset this evening!
how much of your money are you sending overseas thanks for the coffee and wine by the way must be costing you a fortune in dhl
Oh happy days! Dentist's was a nightmare, three teeth out and denture fitted immediately, except it didn't fit properly, so lots of drilling and cutting the new denture till it sort of fits for now, but I have to return tomorrow for another attempt at getting it right!
USD48million each year for 2014-2018, that is USD150 for each person every year. I outsource catering to a small shop near Vicarage Road
Oh that sounds awful, sorry. Hope the after effects are not too prolonged. Surely they should take a denture mould after the teeth have been taken out and the trauma settled?
