Think it's just wishfull thinking. There's an article by Rob Atkinson on newsnow where he's saying they're buying a Fiat 500 for double the price of a Ferrari. Basically, why?

Yeh I read that earlier, for those that can't be bothered, it's a misleading headline... The article says they should buy leeds not that that are going to.

The Ulster Herald is reporting that Leeds are on the verge of signing promising young Glenavon striker Robbie McDaid.

The Ulster Herald report that he is in England to talk with Leeds and there is definitely truth in the reports with Glenavon manager Gary Hamilton admitting McDaid is in England talking with a club about a possible move. Speaking in the Belfast Telegraph , Hamilton said, 'Robbie is an exceptional talent as are all the kids at this club.

'When I joined, Robbie, James Singleton, Rhys Marshall and Jordan Dane were all playing for the Under-17s.

'They were far too good for that level, so they were all promoted to the reserves. Now they are all pushing for the first team.

'We are currently in negotiations with a club in England about Robbie. Hopefully, something will develop over the next few weeks. It's ongoing at the minute.

'He has got everything going for him. He's got a great attitude, he's strong and he's a winner. His finishing today was class.'

The teenager made it three goals in three appearances this season for Glenavon when he came off the bench to score twice as they beat local rivals Portadown 4-2 at the weekend.

McDaid, who has already represented Northern Ireland at under-18 level, earned a call-up for the under-19`s today for their friendly with Switzerland next month.
