  1. What I find annoying about Webb is he is actually a very good referee when he wants to be, he just bottles the big decisions to avoid the aftermath should he get it wrong.

I like that he seems to be approachable during a game as you often see players talking and joking with him during a game. IMO, his people skills on the pitch are second to none. Of course, none of us know what he is saying (link to microphones?)

I also agree that Webb needs more liverpool games bit I would like it if he stopped giving them the benefit of doubt.

Bottled two red cards for Liverpool yesterday. Unacceptable.

Very much the case. Extremely jealous of not moaning about every decision against my club whilst conveniently forgetting those that go for my club.

Oh how I wish I could be like you....

all the mancs are just tossers

we all know webb'a score them included.

Webb is a home town ref. anyone he goes to he favours the home team, someone must have been beheaded for him to award a pen to us as the away team.

LFC fans need to just get real. if he refs a game at anfield he favours us. the issue is he never refs at our ground hardly.

threw a few cards at us as the away team early cos he assumed he should before the game.. in fact arsenal were doing the kicking... and got off with it. out players then had to stand up and not tackle, ie makes his job easier... which he thinks is blowing up when a defender flops over.

Dont think you know what a meltdown is.

Heres a clue, several of you are currenlty having one. Essentially youve lost the plot.

Even during whats been a very good season, delusion is rife. Webb was **** yesterday but botg teams were let down by him.

For the 800trillionth time, there is no fa agenda against Liverpool. Never has and never will be. Paranoia is really bad for your health.

This thread is not about Webb being anti-LFC it is about him being a ****e ref (which Moyes agrees with BTW). He avoids all difficult decisions.

He only gave us a penalty yesterday because Arsenal were 2 goals up. If it was 1-0 to Arsenal he would have bottled the decision just as he proved later with the more blatant penalty.

I think as he is an ex South Yorkshire police officer he shouldn't referee our games, I'm not saying he deliberately does anything underhanded against us but considering the circumstances of the new inquests and his former colleagues part in it he should be 'protected' from any accusations of anti LFC bias based on his years in that particular constabulary.

think baout it chump when was the last time we've had the benefit of his visits.. thats all i said. you just want o hear what you want to hear cos you are that desperate having taking it anally since august.

    meltdown HAH!

    put it this way.

LFC 5 Swansea 0 last yea was last game he reffed at anfield

    before that

LFC 0 arsenal 2 in sept 2012 where rodgers was starting and he were awful for the first games. not a smack of controversy

    before that

0-0 with stoke in jan 2012

nobody whinged when we beat chelsea 2-0 in 2010 with webb in charge

its only when we are playing away that webb comes up and i've seen a LOT of teams hard down by by this guy.

it's all about not making a decision, acting all common sense then blowing up every defender flopping and allowing time wasted etc etc.

Going off on a tangent, but only 4/18 players from our squad that day are still here; Kelly, Skrtel, Gerrard, Lucas
