Fair enough pal, I wasn't impressed with him for the first couple of months but Canas has certainly grown into his role, he's looking sharp and his range of passing is quality although in my opinion Leon still reads the game better, in that position and in that position we don't need players playing 'hollywood balls' we simply need him, whoever he is, to play the 'simple' balls into the attacking midfielder/wide players/back to the defence and talking about pass completion Leon Britton's is right up there with the best of them.

We could still rotate them I'd start Canas at Goodison Park, he came on the pitch at Old Trafford (FA Cup) like a mad man, but in a good way. <ok>

We could even play them both together at times.

    Just my opinion

Interesting observation, but in games such as Crystal Palace at the Liberty Stadium I would rather Pirlo. <ok>

No room for Pablo mukka? I'd be gutted to see him left out after his recent performances.

Like I said while Michu carries a greater goal threat than Pablo in my opinion Pablo is more creative and if Shelvey can score 4/5 from his deeper role there's no reason to believe Michu couldn't hit double figures, meanwhile Pablo would be setting up Wilfried, the wingers and linking up with Michu and they have a good combination going on. <ok>

It's just my opinion anyway that's what the message board is for. <ok>

Michu coming back makes things very interesting indeed! I like Jack Uzi's line up but as has been stated we could field a number of permutations. We have a strong bench and it'll be fascinating to see how Monk handles this.

Well I thought Garry Monk made a good decision, to be honest.

Gave some of the lads a run out, good for team spirit, meanwhile no new injuries for the more important fixtures coming ahead. <ok>

We played well for 60 minutes, lost heart after Everton's second goal.

And it if wasn't fro a couple of mistakes by two senior members of the squad (Neil and Ash) we could well have got a result.

To be fair to the supreme leader we had either no or little options excluding Wilfried for who all we know could had been carrying a knock.

Emnes + the great David NGog were both cup tied.

Giving the lads a run out in our lowest priority fixture was good for team unity.

No one could say they didn't play well for 60 minutes nor that they weren't committed. <ok>

Why would you put someone with a knock on the bench?

Same reason we played an injured Michu ;)

Anybody know how long it will be before he is fit?

5 minute run out if the game was in the balance? I couldn't possibly say.

But I back Garry Monk's team selection and I thought the lads put in a good account of themselves for the most part and I would had said the same regardless of whoever the manager was. <ok>

You couldn't question the players commitment levels, at least, something sometimes lacking under the previous regime.

EDIT - Based on the last 3 games the players are already looking sharper, we haven't seen these sorts of energy levels since Brendan Rodgers!
