Thoroughly enjoyed the cup tie, not really upset about the result, the performance in the main part was pretty darn good.
Cracking FA Cup tie that both teams contributed to, was tie of the round and it lived up to it!
With better finishing (esp. the first two chances) we could have got a +tive result, but wasn't to be and good luck the Arsenal in the next round <ok>

Didn't see the game, but just seen the highlights. I thought both our goals were really well taken and Ox had another great game. He's played himself into a starting place against Bayern in my opinion.

As for Suarez, the first one was a soft pen and the second he made a stupid meal of diving. From the ref's angle he's seen Suarez throw himself to the ground and you can see why he's not given it.

I agree completely with this. Just to add that Webb is a master of avoiding the big decisions.

All I can say Liverpool are a darn good side..... they showed yesterday our 5-1 thrashing @ their place was no fluke. I am just grateful we do not have to face them again this season. I hope they win the league if we don't.

correct , they play at a lightening pace , passing is pretty accurate , and their attack is very dangerous.

If they sorted out a good solid defence they would be formidable.

Do they play manure again , or have they played twice , coz if they play like that against the scum they will destroy em .

I got a text from my mate who was using my ticket, I asked him whether he enjoyed the game he said "I had to leave 5mins to the end my heart could not take it anymore". He is usually a brave chap. You are right, if they sort out their defence, they will be formidable, I think it is a forgone conclusion that they will finish in top 4 this season! They still have to face Manure, Citeh and Chelsea.

Liverpool - as well as facing Utd on 16th March also play Spurs on the 30th March. They then play City and Chelsea at home in April so there is scope for them to take points off of our title rivals - not including the spuds obviously.

Glad we're not playing Liverpool again this season, they're rather damn good.

Great game to watch for the neutral but not me mind as I was p*ssing my pants for the last 30 minutes! I've lost count of the amount of times over the years when it's been us rueing bad luck so it's nice to see another team sulking come the final whistle.

OK it should have been a penalty for Suarez and in his defence I don't think he exaggerated the fall. Rather I think he was re-enacting Michael Thomas' 89 goal celebration... Fair play to him, not enough people have a sense of humour these days <whistle>

But, you know, if nit-picking then you can also throw the obvious Gerrard second yellow or Skrtl scything down Santi in the box. Not me though, I'm magnanimous.

PS I am yet again late to the thread party so if I've just repeated what everyone else has said then b*llocks to ya!

if arsenal are within touching distance of the top at the start of april you will have a great chance to win the league, mayeb 3 points behind the leaders or better and you'll be favourites because I wouldnt expect you to drop any points after then <ok>

    All or nothing .
What a game that will be.

I dont know who the ref will be but he had better be fit to run that one for 90 .

want Liverpool to win all their remaining PL games this season as it means you will take points off Citeh and chavski and put manure and spuds well behind us.

i hope that we win the Pl and Liverpool are second, with Citeh 3rd chavski 4th everton 5th, spuds 6th and manure 8th/9th.

perhaps a dawning of a new period of dominance from us and liverpool, with manure fading away of a decade !
