Unforunately Mighty, I fear that our six point haul from the Weeds will count for nothing. If as expected the FL drag their heels over Sig Cellini I cannot see how this once great (but now small) club can keep going. They are losing a million a month at the moment, have no gate income until 8th March and have wages to pay this month.... I cannot see i) how Cellini would give more money to cover bills if there is no resolution over his takeover and ii) how a limited company can continue trading whilst they are insolvent.... so administration is one possibility ( the best outcome for Leeds ) but more likely outcome is the club folding completely.....if FL do not make a decision in Cellini's favour before end of this month Mighty...can you get a refund on your air tickets if the Weeds are no longer with us in March ????
In 1988 we beat you 2-1 Chesh, although it was known as Division 2 then, but thanks for bringing it up that since it has been known as the Championship we have never beaten you at Elland Road, i'll be lumping on next month i hope i get more than 5/2
The FL cannot allow a team to fold, its bad for business. Cellini has money and that counts for a lot, he also has some clout (if not him, then someone he 'knows'). Leeds, you are quite safe. You have a history of crook chairmen, allegedly so you won't even notice. Sport no longer is a factor in the running of sport. Its the readies that make the rules.
