When I'm bashing the bashers, I assure you, I have no favourites! Ask chippy, he's another one who's posts i enjoy when they're not knocking CH!
well i watched them in league one, so i would watch them back in the championship. ch isnt the one missing the (plentiful) chances.if you support a club, you dont stop supporting them because times a bad.(unless you are from ipswich!)
Yes, I'll still go to home games and perhaps some away ones as well. Like most posters on here, I supported our team when we were languishing in League 1 and enjoyed the ride getting bck into the PL with PL himself at the helm. For me, the biggest difference between PL and CH, is that CH seems INCAPABLE of changing tactics part way through a game - something at which PL excelled (his change of tactics away to Swansea was a classic example and what made it more remarkable was that he didn't make any subs to do it!!). Having said that, I'm pleased that PL chose to leave CR and feel that CH has been unlucky this season with injuries to key players - especially Tettey and Howson. OK, I don't know if many on here will agree with me, but why is it that opposing GKs seem to have their best games of the season when they play against us - the same happened last season at times as well????
No, but only because I wont be able to afford it. If any of you fine people are willing to pay then that'd soon change
It's definitely felt like that this season though I have to say I've felt this way for a while! We seem to get a disproportionate amount of outstanding keeper performances against us! I think it was early in the Championship season I mentioned to someone that Chris Martin would probably be in double figures if he hadn't had so many good saves against him!
I enjoy being A Canary fan for all its ups and downs and of course I will be there while health and finance allow Its part of the enjoyment that all is unpredictable, could not stand the Man Plastic view of life where anything less than a win every game as a disaster we have had a brilliant run, that run may still go on but I do not see relegation as a fate worse than death its just what all but a very few clubs do we get relegated we will get promoted "The Circle of Football" and we get to smack 1p5quit again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree there have been some amazing GK appearances against us this season. I wonder if this has been an increasing mentality in GK's when they play us - looking at our lack of goals they see us as an opportunity for a clean sheet, although obviously they can only save what they see but I wonder if it does have an effect? Also, has anyone noticed how we regularly feature in the Goal of The Month competition? - as the conceding team. Or is that just me?
Agreed - The first goal Arsenal scored against us was stupendous and I doubt any defence could have kept that out!!!
Substitutions and changing tactics during a game are things which are principally remembered when successful (or disasterous) but completely forgotten when they have no effect. Lambert's tactical switches were often correcting his own tactical mistakes, and in other cases they made no difference. As the WR and PPG figures in my signature prove, CH is just as effective as Lambert when it comes to winning games and league points.
