Not a fan of Pardew, personally think it's time for a change BUT sacking him after Villa would be stupidity. We have/had a 11 day gap after Tottenham, play Hull 6 days after Villa then before possibly having a 2 week gap (assuming Everton win today) before we play at Fulham.

The day after I moved out of home, I went back to collect a couple of bags. My dad had already redecorated my old room and turned it into a dining room (we lived in a bungalow).

My dad, without me knowing, packed my bags for me and then told me that he'd found me a course at a crappy polytechnic and that said bags were at the door, gave me the train fare and told me to write once a week to my mum!

They obviously dissolved in the somewhat toxic atmosphere of Middlesbrough. At least that was my excuse and I have stuck with it for about forty years.

 

No going back now then.

 

I went for an open day at Teesside and after about an hour I got back in the car.
