ah yes, same Baldock that was being slated before Christmas as he couldn't hit a barn door with a cows arse.... and same JET who was worth millions and who if we sold him most of the posters on here were going to tear up their season tickets. In a game we could NOT afford to lose, we didn't lose. We gained a point on 3 or 4 of our closest rivals, effectively meaning we were better off after the game than we were before. We stayed in 17th place. Earlier on this season we apparently played much better most of the time and lost. We are 3 games unbeaten. You can probably tell from this post that I am in a positive frame of mind. I wouldn't mind a clean sheet sometime though.

You can indeed T-E-W . However this board has become so depressing to read, with people that seem to want to criticise everything. So much so that I rarely bother to read it anymore. It used to have well reasoned arguments with opinion based on knowledge of the game. Now it is all just knee-jerk reaction to the last 90 minutes of football that was watched. Luckily it is a marathon and not a sprint.
After 4 long desperate years, I think our hope, pain and suffering has turned into anger, aggression and criticism.
Still amazes me that we could have, not one but two players that have scored 20+ goals this season and still go down
Like me, I've never slagged Baldock off once. And I'm one of the first to critise JET. I reserved my judgement on him until the winter months as I was warned to by a Cardiff fan. It just happens to be that his warnings proved correct bags of skil but only when it suits him. My wife even picked up the other week when Baldock scored twice the other week he came alive like he was losing his number one status. He will score and mesmerise us a few more times this season but I can gurantee as soon as the going gets tough he will go missing like he did when Baldock took on that huge defender.
I have criticised him for fluffing too many one on one situations. And if he were willing and able to use this forum, he would probably ,agree it is justified. A £ million striker should have a better conversion rate from those situations than he has. But at least he works his heart out for the team.
