What if I told you that Leicester have a better home record than Forest and there isn't a footballer in the league called Trippian. You've just made up this "most fans prefer to watch Burnley" Unless you're willing to prove that with some statistics? We do understand football mate. The best side in the league is ALWAYS the side at the top. There is no other way to spin that. You went up as the best side in the league but Swansea and Norwich then spent their money wisely and the rest is history. Now answer my question. Who do you think is the best side in the league and back up your argument with facts that might convince me.

Im pretty sure though that if you asked 100 football fans of other clubs who is currently the best team in the Championship, they would say Leicester, because of the league standings. you just see it differently. your prerogative pal Yes you went up with Norwich and Swansea, maybe you were the best team at that point (who knows) but its what happened after the 3 of you were promoted in terms of transfer strategies etc and we all know what a pigs ears your owners made of that!! No need to go there and open painful wounds for you. Norwich and Swansea were far smarter with the acquisitions they made, At the end of the day I could not give a monkeys if we are not the best team in the league or not, I'll gladly take promotion being the the most **** team in the league.... the prize is still the same. ... I love your conviction ... even if it mostly has little basis in fact ... but given that my family hails from Lancashire I can assure you of this much ... fans of Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, Blackpool and Preston North End will not be amongst your 'most fans' ...
... all football fans know 'something' about the game ... but won't necessarily share the same views on how it should be played ... don't really understand the relevance to the discussion here I'm afraid ... is the 'best' team the one that retains as much possession as Swansea do, a counter attacking style like Villa, a team with the individual brilliance of Luis Suarez like Liverpool, or a team with incredible squad depth like Chelsea or Man City? ... I suspect the top four teams in the Prem will all think they have the 'best team' ... ... no dispute here ... currently we are top dogs ... that's not arrogance by the way ... just the relative standings in the table at this point in time ... that can all change by the end of the season... ... no need to apologise .., I hope you continue to try until you get there Thank you ... but caution... only at this point in the season... as I've pointed out continually ... that can all change because football is a fickle mistress ... ... that should have been followed by "in my opinion" ... because that is all it is ... you might be right but you have no real basis for this assertion ... .. a mixed bag ... the first correct (unfortunately without goals at the other end of the pitch this is somewhat undermined in a 'best team' analysis ... the second is fair ... but so too are others (we've only lost once in the league at home for instance, as have you ... before today) ... the third is again your opinion ... Sorry boys..time diffence and all that the point Im making is this.. And this is from a ST holder for many years. When we went up, we won the league but were not the best team in that division by a long shot. We relied on Adel to take the piss and score goals and a decent midfield to cover his mistakes. That is the basis of why we were so poor in the Prem. Up thier you cannot get away with being a 1 man team..esp if that 1 man isnt actually that good So again, i say that the team at the top does not necessarily make the the best. The most succesfull - yes the most points - yes the most enjoyable to watch - very subjective the best footballing team - no (think Chelsea then Arsenal) It depends on what you define as the "best". personally i like to see & play the game the way it should be played. Not Stoke Wimbledon style but Arsenal/ Barca style. That may not always win the league but if it was my money i was spending in this league, it would be to watch burnley. Not Leicester or QPR. Horses for courses i suppose, but i reckon just based on posts i've read across the NPC boards that im not far off the mark Yes its opinions...just trying to be honest, and I guess by telling fans of the team that is currently running away with the league; that they are not the best foootballing side...its never going to work out i could lie and tell you how great i think you are, but why should I? You wil obviously (rightly or wrongly) have a biased opinion. I justy thought i was talking to people with a little more knowledge and honesty? Now...about you crumbling/.........
