Should have known that it was Suarez. Have to be smart in these games. OX and Pod were stupid, but thankfully we got away with one.
he tapped his ankle and he went down like a bitch ass hoe . Serves the biter right if his theatricals later on are ignored. Karma
Lukasz Fabianski, though was my man of the match. Ever since the Bayern game last season, he has been great and was so unlucky to lose his spot in the team after he got injured. Should be a number one, way too good to be a reserve.
I still don't like the fact that semi-finals are played at Wembley. It takes away the magic for teams who reach the final. Sadly, money is king in football.
I'm pleased that some of our non first choice players stepped up there game today and out in good performances. We didn't go for our strongest team but we still got through. Credit to wenger for putting out a team which had enough about it to go through whilst still resting up some players for mid week.
Gave it away, 3 games in a row now..... the Crystal Palace game, the Manure game, and today's game was an apology for the what we served at the Manure game. I really take my hat off to fans up and down the country who never stop watching their team play come rain or shine. This is my first season where I have had go it alone as a season ticket holder, (previously shared with family), it is a HUGE commitment (and I only live 40mins by train to the Emirates), given it away more times than I have seen games, I think! Good thing is my seat has only been empty once (the Marseille game), when I was stuck on the M25 on my way from work and could not get to the game. Thankfully, I was able to opt out of the Bayern game. Doubt if I will be renewing next season .
I was worried about the team. Really didn't think they'd do it. Fantastic result in the end - didn't see the game but listened on the old wireless, looking forward to the highlights It's a great victory for several reasons: 1) Momentum going into the Bayern game 2) Still in the FA Cup with a home tie against Everton - a great chance of progression 3) A full rest for Sagna & Ches 4) A glimpse & confidence boost for Sanogo It sounds like a few things were learnt too: 1) Flamini is indispensable 2) Ozil needs forward runners 3) Fab is a good goalkeeper How did Jenks & Sanogo do? How did Flam & Arteta do alongside each other?
Jenkinson did what was needed of him and as usual got up and down the pitch constantly. He made a few key headers to clear danger towards the back post. Sanogo did really well, he was a constant annoyance to Liverpools CB's, battling with them all game. He was strong, quick, hard working. Good signs from him. I hope he gets another opportunity some time soon. Flamini - Arteta in midfield worked well in this game. Flamini did the clear up work and Arteta roamed further forward helping to tackle and pressure further up the pitch. So they didn't just sit next to each other which is what the issue has been before when they have played together in games we need to attack as well as defend.
That will be a long trek for you back home? Thankfully, I was able to opt out because the "free" number of games included in the season ticket had been reached.
Just got back from the game, the atmosphere was amazing! How everybody got behind the team. Sanago was also very good today, he is a fighter.
