I am wondering if the spin twins are Emburey and Edmonds and the man in black is Lev Yashin, but if it is, I haven't found a link yet.
There was a ref in the 1982 World Cup by the name of Bob Valentine.
The spin twins were Sonny Ramadhin and Alf Valentine.

On the right lines, Frenchie. Alf Valentine and Sonny Ramadhin...spin twins but the man in black was not a sportsman.
That's it...Valentine Dyall had a marvellous deep voice and introduced radio's Appointment with Fear and featured in a number of horror films.
Frenchie and Dave may have to fight it out for the next question...
