I've never been so stunned with a starting line up in my life . On the bright side , if this line up does well the future sure looks bright but I think our defence will be over ran

That's an insulting lineup. Insulting to the FA Cup, insulting to Everton and insulting to us fans.

I honestly thought it was a joke when I read it first.

It appears to me that the Europa glory hounds are in fact our board, and not ML. Leigh Dineen doesn't want to miss out on more free booze ups on the continent. Surely, playing a weakened team at home vs Napoli would have been wiser, especially with Liverpool on the horizon.

However, if we can hold the through 50-60 mins, we have a chance.

I respectfully disagree, if we were in Southampton's position I would agree but the Premier League is 10x more important likewise the upcoming game against Napoli because fixtures like those don't come around often for SCFC.

Garry Monk made the right decision I stand by that, changes were always on the cards. <ok>

We might had even lost the game had we picked the A-Team.

    Sun 22 Dec Swansea City 1 - 2 Everton
    Sat 12 Jan Everton 0 - 0 Swansea City
    Sat 22 Sep Swansea City 0 - 3 Everton
    Sat 24 Mar Swansea City 0 - 2 Everton
    Wed 21 Dec Everton 1 - 0 Swansea City

Seeing as we 'credit' people with others work around here I'm 'crediting' the defeat to Brendan Rodgers, he started this hype and he even picked his A-Team! :cheesy: Then ML followed on.

Any fan who went up should had been aware big chances were likely to be made, we don't have the squad to compete on all 3 fronts, the Premier League has to be our #1 priority and Napoli IS a bigger fixture than Everton, rest assured this would had been discussed between GM & the chairman. <ok>

Despite the changes made I thought the lads played brilliantly if we'd had a better striker than Alvaro the result may had been different, it's good to see we've got options in the squad and you couldn't question their commitment levels. <ok>

Couldn't agree more, we can rest players, but at least look as if we seriously want to give it a go!..........<ok>

I couldn't agree less and Garry Monk would had decided who would had benefited from a run out or not and the priorities would had been discussed between him and the chairman.

Despite the changes, we were outstanding for 60 minutes of the game, no one could accuse them of not trying, like the last game at Stoke their commitment levels were 100%.

No injuries, roll on to the Liberty Stadium against Napoli and let's smash them, the A-Team will be on show. <ok>
