    I've got loads of football programmes that I've neen collecting for quite a while now. Not just the games I've been to but some I've bought on the internet. Some I've had for a while that I've just put my hand on by chance are;

    Chelsea v Newcastle 26th Dec 1959
    Chelsea v Newcastle 3rd Nov 1962.
    Newcastle v Sunderland 14th Mar 1964
    Newcastle v Bolton Wanderers 24th Oct 1959
    Newcastle v Tottenham 27th April 1968
    Rangers v Celtic 1st Jan 1949

And an England v Belgium ( Victory International ) 19th Jan 1946. Quite an interesting one, a 4 page one printed on card.

    The printed teams were:

    England.
    Swift.
    Scott. Hardwick.
    Soo.(changed to W.Wright) Franklin. Mercer.(Captain)
Matthews. Brown. Lawton. Wright. (changed to Mannion) Mullen.

    Belgium.
    Daenen.
    Paverick. (Captain) Pannaye.
    Puttaert. Vergammen. Devos.
    Lemberechts. Coppens. Decleyn. Merrmanns. Sermon.

Facts And Items On The Game. ( on the back of the prog ).
The last time we met the full strength of Belgium, at Brussels in 1936, they beat us 3-2. Our amateurs were also beaten 3-0 at Brussels in 1932. When the last match in that series was played no other Continental Nation has been able to manage a double of this kind.

When Stanley Matthews plays in today's game - his 44th International appearance - he will have beaten Eddie Hapgood's all-time record of 43.

The result was a 2-0 win for England.

Just thought you might like to know a little bit about a historic game.

I've got a programme from Newcastle v Porto from November 1969, the season after we won the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup (which we only qualified for as a result of only 1 team being allowed from each city - we finished below 4 London teams, 2 Liverpool teams, 2 Manchester teams, Leeds (League winners, therefore in the European Cup) and Southampton).

I did a quick search for the video but found nowt, there's some early england games from the 50s on youtube though (one against belgium I saw)

Then I just decided to find historic matches and my first instinct was the first WC final

Yes, it's been a long time and looks as if it could be as long again.

I use to have a few programmes from matchday but lost them. Decided to start collecting my ticket stubs back in 2006, got a few uefa cup ones amongst others.
