BigAl is spot on, the back five did well, although Cressy was a bit average, the rest of the team huffed and puffed but never looked like knocking any walls down. Our starting line up in the middle was a mystery, I thought Green was a CM not a right winger.? (poetic licence)

2 points from a very achievable 6 isn't a happy statistic but I unlike previous seasons I don't look ahead to Leicester fearing a hammering. With the pattern of our recent games (by which I mean the result against Reading) I'm actually very hopeful of a win. I wonder if this says something about our style of play? The poorer teams are neither able to break us down or attack with enough speed/conviction to leave themselves open for counter attacks. Our organised team of average players are very hit and miss when attacking championship defences. The source of frustration for me this season has been all the missed points - the ones dropped and the ones that looked like certain points, like the last 2 games. Its all ifs and buts but If we picked up just a couple more of them we would comfortably be in the play-offs. I still only expect top 10 this season so am very content with the season so far but the taunting closeness of the play-offs that are just out of reach makes it very very frustrating. I hope that we strengthen sensibly in the summer -as i've said before this doesn't necessarily mean spending millions - and look towards promotion next season.

Spanish - what were you really expecting from this season? We are all frustrated at the last two results, many of us have frustrations with the style of play, the amount of points said style has won/lost us is up for debate but the table doesn't lie - This is the best season we've had since 08-09. Many of us also recognise tactical deficiencies and get bemused at line up choices for certain games, but on other occasions the line up/tactics appear spot on i.e. Reading, we beat them in between two of their largest margins of victory this season. I'm sure we would all love to see one touch football tearing up the championship winning everygame by at least 2 goal margins, but after the disastrous seasons since Magilton was hounded out I am more than happy with a top 10 finish.
Read twtd 4 pages of comments, only 1 idiot not backing MM's team selection, tactics etc, says it all, we are losing fans rapidly and if things continue in the same vein then we will be in doo doo. You cant blame people, who wants to pay all that money to be bored senseless!!
Oh and Mike, you wont get your top ten finish, of that im sure, so does that mean you will not be happy?
I would be very disappointed if we didn't finish top 10, but I would also recognise we finished outside after most of the season being top half - not after a season in the bottom 6. I know we wont get play-offs -I admit I got a little carried away with belief when we were in 6th - but top 10 is a very realistic target.
