my average home game £1.50 bus, £7 before the game, half time - £7 beer and a pie.. after the game.. atleast 3-4 so.. £10 and i've done that 5 times less than sunderland AND, you have to pay a ticket fee for the cup games... honestly don't know how you can complain at the attendances.. it's staggering the amount of home games okay you don't need to spend as much as me at home games.. but even so.. it all adds up..
GG Why not allow season ticket holders in for free? They pay up front and deserve the reward. Make sure they apply for tickets asap. Any not coming, sell at discount. How many would have been there today then? It would take away this argument which is taking the shine off our club x
I'm all for this kind of thing mate, that's not the point I'm making. I think in the clubs defence, they do a hell of a lot, interest free loans etc, reduced tickets, to encourage people to the stadium. It's understandable that some folk can't afford to go, and nobody is having any issue with these folk.
No? So who exactly are you having an issue with ........ not me, not my sons, not my mates, not the exiles, not people who can't afford to go.
go west? will we ****! east coasters for life aint we!!!
People who live in the region, who have the money to go and choose not to, how many times have I said this on this thread? **** sake.
No offence mate but ffs ........ it's Saturday night, match day, on the Sunderland board. And we have a drunken pseudo-Mackem Mag taking potshots at a lost & lonely Hull supporter It's ****ing crazy.
People who live in the region and can't be arsed to go I would imagine. And then claim hard done by when they struggle for a ticket.
But you're just guessing ........ in reality you don't have a ****ing clue about what people can afford do you? FFS, admit it, you're just pissed off because you wanted to see a bigger crowd and you don't want any nasty Mags taking the piss.
but you can't comprehend how many are in the CBA category and the can't really stretch the budget category like i mentioned earlier, this was the eighth home game of the season in comparison to my team, which had its third last tuesday...
But perhaps they're Sunderland supporters who can be arsed, and would love to go, but have to tell their lass they're off to Wembley for 2 days with next week's wages. Perhaps they just can't take the risk of asking to go to a match that the manager has already said he'd be happy to lose.
I don't believe for a nano-second there were 24,000 people who couldn't afford to go. I couldn't give 2 ****s what the Mags think of out attendances, I do worry about the picture an empty stadium builds for the club I love, in a game that was shown all over Europe.
