Lads, with all of this weather seemingly unrelenting, is Cheltenham under any threat at the moment as far as we know?

    My jumpers bumpers picks;
    1.30 Bringithomeminty (11/8)
    2.00 Five In A Row (5/2)
    2.30 As De Mee (85/40)
    3.00 Polisky (5/1)
    3.35 Aazif (16/1)
4.05 Mr Burbidge (7/1) NR replace with Juno The Muffinman (18/1)
    4.35 Prompter (33/1)
    5.10 Daymar Bay (5/1)

Betfair prices. PROMPTER has some decent flat form in the past, could be a nice price each way!

I brought this up on last Sundays thread too and think the future forecast is pretty bleak altho that can change depending on wind directions, but Cheltenham is sure to be boggy, its last meeting was the heaviest ground I've seen there in a while and we are sure to miss watching some top animals at the festival should conditions be bad due to not taking part.

I hope things change for the better soon.

Fear not, it does drain well and has its own micro climate that protects it from the worst of the weather-the cleeve hill doesa great job. A lot can happen in a month!

Slim pickings in Ireland today in terms of value.

Zaidpour looked wrong last time behind the mighty Mala Beach, but if he bounces back to his best then he is certainly the one to beat. Dunguib is 11yo now, when you look back at his form he has never actually been that good, was just a nice horse to look at when he was beating crap in bumpers and novice hurdles, at 10/3 he doesnt interest me in the slightest. Jennies Jewel is a nice little mare, always has been but I find it impossible to back her to beat Zaidpour even though he has to bounce back from a poor run. Minsk could outrun his odds but its hard to be confident about him. The horse I like here is Un Beau Matin 10/1 and I simply cant believe the price, 18.5 on Betfair albeit only for change. Ran the race of his life last time when second to Mala Beach, ridden more forcefully than normal he had everything bar Mala Beach cooked from a long way out, and although had no answer to the winner in the straight, he beat Jetson 11 lengths who has since came out and won a competitive looking handicap off 136, which suggest Un Beau Matin's rating off 136 is in grave danger. The winner is one of the best young stayers in Ireland and there was no disgrace in getting beaten like that so dropping back a couple of furlongs today, if Un Beau Matin is in the same sort of form he might take a bit of pegging back if they use the same tactics.

Daneking ought to be winning his maiden but id be suprised if he is the right side of even money for too long given form and connections and hes not one I want to be staying up all night to get evens about. Blue Bicycle could be very interesting and if I knew for sure they were trying he would certainly be the one for me at around 5/1 but surely they must be thinking of handicaps given that very generous looking rating off 114. If they come for him in the betting I would certainly think about it.

The two others that look worth an interest to me are The Bishop Looney 8/1 in the first and Rafi De Triana 8/1 in the 2m handicap hurdle.

No worries on the beer mate <ok> I was ****ing laughing 3 out, Loch Ba was about a furlong behind Our Father. Pipe horse tired badly in the ground though and got nabbed on the run-in. He'll come on for that, but it was a dodgy pick on my part with him being off the track so long - it was that twat Tom Segal on The Morning Line who swayed me away from Venetia's pair <laugh>

Cant believe no one has mentioned My Tent or Yours yet. The question is by how far will he win by? Then its on to cheltenham glory for me! Im expecting to see him cruising on the bridle big time 2day.

At 1/5 why would we bother! Lets face it, its a spin for him not a serious race.

get on KILCOOLEY at Market Rasen fellas. Yard think a lot of him and were shocked when beaten on debut. Put that right the next time and will be even better now seeing a hurdle!
