I feel like I have been transported into a parallel universe

 

and that's your weakness, you follow your spirit guide, so you think you do the opposite, when in fact you don't. A lost soul will always do the opposite to a spirit guide because it has nothing to lose...whereas you are weak, you cannot control your speak, where the lost soul will always wait silently for the spirits to follow...they all do eventually like the pied piper once you uncover the truth and faced they hide behind.
