Sorry to hear that brady. I hope you have a black book of names you can call upon when the time comes. I've recently been tamed so I'm all loved up at the moment. Cooked for her. Calamari with aioli, followed by moules mariniere and finished off with a chocolate fondant. All made from scratch of course.
Nothing wrong with getting the women doing the cooking. But every man should have at least a few impressive sounding go to meals to cook up. They'll be putty in your hands.
Don't get me wrong, I make the cereal in a morning and the sandwiches for packup (as well as assembling said sandwiches alongside sundry items into a full packed lunch). In fact I'm just tucking into a packup now even though I haven't left the house today; it's my specialty (and she's out).
You're putting in the effort there. Can't be faulted and always appreciated by the women. None too shabby PLT.
Just go out to the shop, buy a farmhouse loaf, stick in in a sandwich bag, buy a proper jar of jam from the deli, peel the label off, when she gets home tell her you've baked a loaf of bread and made some jam, she'll be well impressed.
My son's going out for his first date tonight. Now begins the journey about learning about the difficulties of the opposite gender...
