Some interest in today's matches. Bournemouth v Burnley - looks like a tricky fixture for the team immediately above us, they may well have to be happy with a draw. Ipswich v Blackpool - I'd expect Ipswich to pick up all 3 points which would see them move into one of the playoff spots if they score enough goals. Nothing else of any real note though. Come on the Cherries!
Afternoon all..... Think that Burnley will be too strong up front for Cherries, Ings & Voakes look as if they will score every game they play..... Couple of interesting games at the foot of the table, Donny v Barnsley & Millwall v Bolton.....other than that they are mostly mid table scraps....
I just think Burnley will have too much for Bournemouth and the opportunity to pull further clear of the 3rd place will be all the incentive they need... I see our match at Hillsboro may be put off again due to the FA Cup postponement today...
I would expect Burnley to beat Bournemouth. However, I saw their pitch on the news last night and it was very, very wet. They were having a pitch inspection at 730am this morning. Considering that it will be very heavy, the pitch may be a leveller.
Also see that Weds cup tie with Charlton has been postponed, likely now that our re-arranged game with them will but put back further as that new date would have coincided with any reply, now likely to play todays game then..... Guess it will now be late March when we play Weds....
Sorry, I can never agree with this outlook. I know many on here have the same opinion that other matches don't mean anything, but if we don't get 3 points on Sunday we will need Burnley to have not got anything today, surely?
We can only win our games, burnley and others theirs, I think we agree Col however if the other teams around win or whatever, if we do not win, then as things stand, we can only hope for the playoffs, no thanks
Come on cherries apart from the fact that we still need to go thee also ... should be playing better by then and challenging for top spot
