I kinda hope Jose's comments hit a nerve with Wenger. Our manager does seem more obsessed with his footballing 'philosophy' than with winning trophies and frankly its f**king tiresome. We missed the opportunity to strengthen in January, have a massive unspent transfer kitty and are obviously missing a quality centre forward. I doubt we will win the league and I doubt we will add much quality in the Summer. Nobody has really taken the reigns at Arsenal. The Club claims to be ambitious but the manager clearly isn't and the board are unlikely to force things. It's all getting pretty tiresome. Someone needs to light a fire under his arse. He seems a shadow of his former self.
In all that time, Wenger has seen one of his greatest projects come to fruition with the Emirates Stadium, and thanks to the Emirates Stadium, record amount of profits are starting to come in, which will hopefully propel us to where we want to be, Ozil is a good example, thanks to the stadium and new profits, we were able to sign a genuine world class player like Ozil for 42 million.
