Melodic Rendezvous in the 3-35 Wincanton

What the heck Nichols is doing with Zarkandar I have no idea, unless it's just to get a race into him pre-Chelts. He has obviously realised finally that 2m is no longer Zarkandar's trip at the top level as he is entered for the World Hurdle. I think Melodic is stitched on for this

What do we do if Melodic Rendezvous slams Zarkandar 15 lengths? Given that The New One and Annie Power's ratings are based solely on beating Zarkandar it would make the Champion Hurdle market interesting.

Don't know about you Oddy, but I'd be displaying my smug face and reminding everyone that I said Annie Power should be going for the World and not the CH :D

George Guru at Lingfield-bit of a punt-but as long as he don't get trapped he's got to have a great chance in this race--

Well personally i think the 25/1 on offer about Melodic Rendezvous at the moment is a bit of an insult. If he was trained by Nicholls or Henderson he would be 12s. I have backed him at 25s e/w and I think he will beat Zarkandar today and we will see his price shorten to what he should be

I never look at AW if there's NH on Rudy, but well done :)

Pleased with Melodic Rendezvous as my money was down, but not sure that was a CH winning performance.

Well done Captain Chris and Melodic Rendezvous backers. Keeping the powder dry for Chelts since last Sunday but these two did scream double at me!

How good was Captain Chris? I don't think he's far behind those at the head of the Gold Cup market but they'd need to run the race the opposite way round for the Captain obviously!

Whatever beats the fly wins -and he looks the likeliest-others will differ but at 5/1its a bet to nothing
