Didn't he tip us to beat Southampton? He probably thought **** tipping us again after that game and went to the tried and tested 2-0 loss
Any extra cup games and possible replays will lead to fixture congestion ,less recovery time for possible injuries and less preparation time for team tactics for the upcoming league game .F.A.Cup is too big a distraction when you are only 3 points above the relegation spots imho.
There's no choosing between one and the other. And if there was I'd choose the FA cup any day. **** the premier league.
Aluko Aluko Aluko Aluko Aluko Aluko Aluko Aluko Aluko Jelavic Long Or, perhaps slightly more likely... Harper Elmo - Bruce - Faye - Figueroa Boyd - Meyler - Koren - Quinn Fryatt - Sagbo I know Boyd is a left footer but I wouldn't really want to start Aluko or Brady (maybe 20 mins off the bench) and though it wouldn't hurt to give Elmo a rest we have no one else for right back, and some extra defensive practice won't hurt for him. Just wish we had two extra fullbacks for games like this - hopefully addressed in the summer.
I'd certainly have them both starting against Cardiff, but figured a second half appearance for each on monday would protect them a little more than starting and potentially playing the full 90 minutes. Then again, I was thinking it was only a few days between Brighton and Cardiff but of course it is 5 days away - not sure why I had a 3 day gap in my head.
I think we will see McGregor come in, as he will be short of match practice and we will want him for Saturday.
I'd love to see McGregor, Davies, Huddlestone and Livermore play. We won't have Jelavic and Long so it will be difficult enough to win anyway. Brighton putting out their best side and us trying to lose the match doesn't sound like much fun. At least the pies sound as if they will be worth the trip.
