I thought he'd finally turned things around, unlucky in your last game.

They may deserve to go down but if we are promoted it would be good for us to have an away trip thats not a millon miles away from Loftus Road!

Just saying on a Saturday afternoon I'd rather be in Fulham than Hull or Sunderland.

Unlike some, I personally I feel no animosity towards Fulham supporters and can only offer my condolences and best wishes towards Fulham Traveller. Chin up mate, West Ham have shown that escape is possible.

Magath, a former midfielder who won over 40 caps for West Germany during his playing career, has only managed in the Bundesliga.

This began with Hamburg in 1995 and also includes time with Nurnberg, Werder Bremen, Eintracht Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Bayern Munich, Schalke and two spells as boss of Wolfsburg.

His most successful stint was as Bayern manager, during which he won the league and cup double twice in 2004-05 and 2005-06.

The sight of Fulham fans lustily singing "Are you Flavio in disguise" towards the director's box would be very droll methinks. There's still time for the owner to break the orange one's record in one season. he can do so secure in the knowledge that he our Ray waiting patiently in the wings for his 15 minutes in the hot seat. My word.

Looking long term.............IF we get up to the Premier League and IF we build a new stadium, it would be helpful to have one less Premier League team in our catchment area.

Perhaps a salient reminder of what can happen when your long term investor has had enough?

But the man with the 'Groucho' moustache was supposed to herald a new dawn for the Ruperts...

Then again, look at the Jacksonville Jaguars, or then again, don't...<laugh>

Cheers Tooting. Rene took his time turning things around. I thought he generally did ok in his reign - well better than clueless Jol. But he did play players out of position, made questionable substitutions, alienated some players and picked baffling formations (hence our losing streak and goal difference).

I've always enjoyed our derby matches, plus quite a few of my mates are hoops (I'm trying to convert them ;-). I'm hoping we stay up and you grab that 2nd automatic promotion spot. I might have a cheeky wager on that double!

Not surprised. West Londoners know what happens when Butch gets his hands on the managerial reins of a football club.

I'll tell you one thing, they could have done worse than give Curbs the job. I know he's been out the game for a long while now but he was hot property back in the day after what he did with Charlton. If I was the Fulham chairman, I would have went with Curbs for a dog-fight rather than gone foreign. He'd be well up for the scrap and he'd know how to get the players to grind out results.

Instead they've gone with Felix the Cat

Actually, don't we hold the record for the best or should that be worst bowling averages ever. Did'nt Jim Gregory get [rid of] 3 managers in the space of about 35 days in 1968 - Alec Stock, Bill Dodgin then Tommy Docherty? The last of these resigned but would probably have claimed constructive dismissal had that been invented at the time. Not going to have a pop at Fulham because they are now suffering the dame megalomania we did for so long. I just wish it on the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and United whose supporters have been spoiled for too long. Those who have a go at Redknapp for the football we're playing are as nothing compared to the idiots who booed Arsenal off the pitch this week because they are only 2nd (for the first time in well over a decade) and could have gone top again if they could have scored one.
