I'm really hoping we win this one big time. If we can get through this Round we are in a very strong position.
Gus Poyet says the cancellation of their Man City game means he has totally changed his plans for the game tomorrow. (not sure if already covered - apologies if so)
I thought the story earlier in the week was that despite the cancellation of the Man City games, he was still going to approach the game in the same way, with the same players that needed game time.
i still harbour a bit of a dislking of Poyet from his running feud with saints. But that aside.... I do think he has done a very good job with Sunderland and will keep them up.
Nothing against Sunderland fans but I have no time for Poyet. A good manager but just don't like him.
I'd take a draw right now for two reasons. One, we'd win at our place. Two, it would really hinder their survival. So, put a strong team out Gus.....if you dare.
Gus Poyet being very complimentary about Saints here: http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/sunderland-boss-to-name-strong-cup-side-1-6440930
That's a little childish and pathetic History .... but I so love it and agree with you ....nasty little man he is
Did the local rag replace 'Southampton' when he said 'Dugainum en Red breedge' then Still can't stand him and hope that a couple of hamstrings go, he trips up and knocks himself out giving him selective amnesia leading him to drive to Brighton for the remainder of the season whilst Taricco decides to sell Tacos because he doesn't know what his job is followed by Martin O Neill and Roy Keane being relegated from the ROI job to rejoin their former club to take them back where they belong
I thought it was mild! Last season around January I had Qpr's 36 man squad made up in voodoo dolls with a selection of pins!
