I meant for your main team, 2nd team could be LA Galaxy for all i care. Personally i always look out for Chesterfield results, don't know why but just do.

I was born in Colchester but lived in Banham & Attleborough all my school life, one of my classmates dad worked for Poll & Withey windows & we had some of the Milk cup players come to school and give us all replica kits as the BANHAM SCHOOL TEAM COLOURS.
I went to school with Sarah Fulger too and know the Banham Poultry family.
This is how i support Norwich, ,my kids live 200 metres from the Emirates and like both teams.<ok>

Born in Norwich, and support....erm, Norwich.

Occasionally go to watch Bray Wanderers, and have a soft spot for them, hope that's ok! <laugh><ok>

Strange that, I always look out for Plymouth results. Form absolutely no reason whatsoever!

I am going to get hammered for this. I was born in Colchester lived in Norwich for the last 10+ years and have a business based in Thetford, Colchester are my second team and I always look what's going on with them.

yes me! i was bought up watching my local team, spurs with my dad,a lifelong spurs fan. moved to norfolk at 13 and started watching city, and have followed them ever since. tottenham are still my second club, but no one at carrow road will be wanting norwich to get a result against them more than me. also for some strange reason i always look for torquays results! no idea why!

I was born 11 miles from Norwich, moved to Suffolk at age 4, both my parents were staunch City fans so that was me hooked. Left home at 16 and moved to London, my best friend was a Chelsea fan, I used to stand with him in the Shed for every home match, so I now always look out for Chelsea results and love them to win every match except against us, though they usually do anyway!

All you guys coming out and admitting to "second" teams. When, a long time ago, I posted that Arsenal was my second team, I was told I couldn't possibly be a proper fan because a true fan can only support one team. Maybe that was just because it was the Gunners.

And Kemp, I also have a bit of a soft spot for Colchester. I admire littl'uns who battle against adversity! <ok>

There is nothing wrong with following a second team! I am Ipswich Town born and bred but I moved to Cambridge when I was 12. When Ipswich sold the legend to Liverpool in 1984 I was gutted but I began following them when Warky played. I was absolutely delighted for him when he won his league championship medal. Just a shame it wasn't with us but I was delighted for him as he fully deserved it.

My wife's team is Liverpool and so my bond with Liverpool is now even stronger! Of course my first team will always be Ipswich.

Cheers JWM, we're pretty much OK in Weston but as the crow flies, only about 3 miles from the Levels! <ok>

I grew up in Lowestoft (although I was born in Norfolk at the JP), both my parents hate football and none of my friends supported Norwich, so I couldn't even remember why I started supporting Norwich other than I have done all my life.

Torquay also my second team - my step dad was from there. My first and only visit to the old Wembley was to watch them play against Bolton in the auspicious Sherpa Van Trophy Final. A magic day out. Torquay went 1 up before losing 4-1. They still won a Sherpa van though, which I thought was a bit duff as we had one at school for carting us around in. Still!

When I was younger I casually supported Liverpool, mainly because Owen was my favourite player at the time, and Norwich. Then I got a season ticket at CR and have been a die hard fan for the past 10 or so years.

Still bloody annoyed that when we went up for the 04/05 season, Owen got sold to Real Madrid. Never got to watch him play in his prime.

So deciphering your post, you were originally a Liverpool fan who got a season ticket at the Carrot Patch and began 'supporting' Norwich?<laugh>

I wasn't born into a football following family but I share the same hospital as a certain Terry Butcher. My father's years in the RAF took us to Hull, Ipswich and finally Norwich. Norwich won my heart despite the attentions of Liverpool fans when growing up in Oxfordshire. I don't really have much affection for a constant second team as I will always follow Norwich City first. Over the years I've looked out for several 'second' teams but now mainly those that benefit the Canaries on match weekends. One of those teams is Arsenal as an ex-partner's son supported them back in 1997/98. I still remember him telling me that Rioch was going to be City manager.
