So Wenger says that Jose is talking down Chelsea's title chances cos he is scared of failure...and Jose retorts that Wenger is a specialist in failure after winning nothing for 8 years...

who is gonna claim their wife is the prettiest first ? <laugh>

Mo has just made himself look like a ****ing idiot, Wenger wasn't wumming anybody, but speaking facts. He was asked why some managers downplay their title chances, even going as far as saying they're not in it, like Mo and Rogers, and Wenger gives a simple answer, which we all know is true, it is a fear of failure so they're already making excuses now, by saying we're not in the title race, then they don't lose it.

So how was Wenger wumming? Perhaps you should've listened to the press conference first, because Wenger as usual spoke with intelligence, not wumming.

Mo on the other hand, as usual, comes out like a child, being disrespectful, and making himself look like a ****ing idiot.

If someone came and asked you why Mo is saying Chelsea aren't in the title race, what the **** would you say? It's so ****ing obvious he's saying this as an insurance policy incase they lose, to come out and say well I always knew we weren't in the title race, we still weren't ready and complete bla bla bla, it's just to mask the failure with some sugar coating. With all the money Chelsea have spent this season, and their position, for Mo to say they're not even title contenders is laughable, and shows the obvious, he's just trying to save his ass incase they do fail, after all, how can you fail if you were never in the race?

Wenger spoke the truth, no wumming.

Why did you make two ranty posts in a row on the same thing, Arsenal87?

I mean it seems weird that someone would make two posts in a row ranting about the exact same thing, unless they'd been drinking.

Mo's tricks have even worked on a lot of fans, including those knob heads who support Chelsea. So many have been going on about Chelsea not being as strong this season, and will get better next year with new signings. What a load of COCK, Chelsea have spent over 100 million in transfers this season, yes, over a ****ing hundred million. So it's obvious Mo is very very afraid of failure, when you spend that much money, and don't win the league, it's a major failure, so he's played tricks saying they're not in the title race, they're still 'building' and all that bullshit, and so many fans have lapped it up and taken it as gospel truth.

On the other hand, Arsenal have spent much less than that, and we're right up there with Chelsea, yet everybody wants to slag Arsenal off, and saying we bottled it if we don't win the league, really? How the **** does that work out, we've spent less than our rivals, and we're the ones who'd bottle it, while the rivals who spent over a 100 million, if they don't win it, well it's ok they're just not complete yet? lol, what a load of bullshit of the highest order.

And the journalist got exactly the kind of reply he was fishing for. I'd rather Wenger just kept his mouth shut when asked about other clubs

Personally, I think it's good he does it, all the other managers talk about others, playing mind games, so he should as well, put pressure on them, he's definitely riled up Mo as you can see, and that's a good thing. Mo is scared right now, he has been all season by trying to downplay Chelsea, so keep putting pressure on him.

You would think he was smarter than to fall for their bollox questions.

Arsene , you know you can just THINK something , you dont have to say it.

The media arent interested in what you think , they just want a headline , and you kindly obliged.

    Naive.

You may not like it, but it's all true, ;-). You spent over 100 million and you little ****s talk about how you're still 'building' and not that strong yet, funny, tell me did you Chelski fans apply that same logic to Spurs? ;-)

If some tw@t gutter journo wants to know why some coaches play down their chances, he should just have the savvy to say " go ask them , not me "

Personally I don't think what Wenger said was bad at all, the test will be his reaction to Mourinho's latest comments.

I don't know which Chelsea fans you've been talking to but certainly no Chelsea fan I've interacted with is under that illusion. But just to counter your argument; spending doesn't mean instant success (Real Madrid, City, Liverpool and others will tell you that). You have to build a team to play with each other, regardless of cost.

Anyway, I was referring to the 'those knobheads who support Chelsea' part.

Yeah in fairness all Chelsea fans I know are well aware Maureen is talking b*llocks. Doesn't stop me from singing a rendition of Father Ted's "My Lovely Horse" whenever I see one of them but at least they're not buying it.

I think what he means is that Wenger left the door open for the media to paraphrase his statement to be 'bolder' and seemingly directed specifically on Chelsea/Mourinho. Which they did.

Fair enough, but his reaction to these comments will be more important imo. He needs to just shrug it off.

Maureen seems to be rattled by something...... He seems to be upset with every manager in the top 4. Last week he was advocating Yaya Toure should be banned for the incident in the game against Norwich (obviously so he will not have play against him). Trading insults with Pelligrini, questioning his maths blah blah. Now he is insulting Wenger for answering a valid question. He is showing himself as really of no class and of little education. You will never hear SAF trading personal insults like that.
